Generally, in motor-driven devices, the energization state of the drive power source may be determined by the so-called "wind noise" generated as the motor rotates. However, in the case of a sewing machine in which a servo motor for direct drive is controlled by a foot pedal, the relationship between the closing of the power supply circuit and the driving of the motor does not necessarily correspond. Therefore, even when the power supply circuit is closed, the drive motor is stopped except when the sewing machine is operating and sewing is being performed. Particularly in a sewing factory or the like in a noisy environment, it is inappropriate to use sounds such as "wind noise" to determine the open/closed state of a power supply circuit by hearing. For this reason, as a means for determining whether the power supply circuit of the drive motor is in an on state or an off state, a method of visually displaying using light from an indicator lamp or the like has been adopted.

On the other hand, sewing machines with automatic thread trimmers are equipped with a detector that detects the position of the sewing machine needle that moves up and down, and generally stops the sewing machine when the sewing machine needle is at the upper position (near top dead center). The thread cutting operation is then performed. A movable indicator corresponding to the upper position of the sewing machine needle is displayed on the outer periphery of the boob, and is aligned with a fixed indicator on the sewing machine frame side to enable adjustment and inspection of the stopping position of the sewing machine needle.

In addition, in Fig. 6, the indicator lamp (lO) is connected to the sewing machine frame (2).
) Since it is installed in front of the display box (I4) attached to the top surface of the power supply, there are no problems with the display function as the power-on status can be clearly seen. However, although not shown in the upper part of the sewing machine frame (2), there is a mechanism for feeding the needle thread of the sewing machine, and there is a high possibility that the needle thread passing through the route may get caught. Further, there is also a problem with the wiring.Furthermore, the sewing machine shown in FIG. 7 has a configuration in which an indicator lamp (lO) is attached to the detection section (5). Since the detection part (5) is located at the protruding end of the main shaft, in this case as well, the display function is likely to be lost depending on the placement position, as in Fig. 5, and the conventional sewing machines listed in Figs. 5 to 7 have no problems. The problem was that it had some drawbacks.

The needle upper detection plate (31) has a slightly thicker and smaller annular shape and has a stepped portion (34) formed on its outer periphery, and the needle lower detection plate (32) on the larger annular side is fitted into this stepped portion (34). . The needle top detection plate (31) is fitted into the axially protruding cylindrical portion (35) of the pulley (4), and the outer peripheral edge of the stepped portion (34) is brought into contact with the needle bottom detection plate (32). It is pressed against the inner surface of the pulley (4) by a presser plate (33). Holder plate (
33), the needle top detection plate (31) is rotated around the cylindrical part (35), and its position relative to the movable indicator (12) on the pulley (4) can be adjusted. . (36) is a semicircular convex portion formed protruding from the outer circumference of the needle lower detection plate (32), and (37) is a semicircular convex portion provided on the inner circumference of the pulley (4) corresponding to the convex portion (36). It has four circular parts. The convex portion (3B) is engaged with the concave portion (37), thereby regulating the rotation of the needle lower detection plate (32) and positioning it relative to the pulley (4). (41) is a through-hole for the needle top formed by an arc-shaped notch provided on the outer peripheral edge of the needle top detection plate (31);
(42) is a transparent groove for the needle lowering formed by an arc-shaped notch provided on the inner peripheral edge of the needle lowering detection plate (32), and (43) is on the same circumference of the needle lowering detection plate (32). This is a rotary through hole formed by a plurality of square window-shaped through holes. Needle upper groove (41
), the needle bottom groove (42), and the rotating hole (43) are connected to the needle top detector (51) on the fixed part side attached to the cover (23).
and are provided opposite to the needle down detector (52) and the rotation detector (53). Therefore, the surfaces of the needle top detection plate (31) and the needle bottom detection plate (32) form reflective surfaces, and the needle top detection plate (32) forms a reflective surface.
51), the needle down detector (52), and the rotation detector (53), each of which receives the reflected light from the light projecting element. Further, the light emitted from the light projecting element to the needle upper hole (41), the lower needle hole (42), and the rotating hole (43) is absorbed or attenuated in these portions. In addition, although the sewing machine table (1), needle portion (3), etc. of the present invention are not shown in the drawings, they are constructed in the same manner as in FIGS. 5 to 7 described above.

At this time, the light emitted from the light emitting elements of the needle top detector (51), needle bottom detector (52), and rotation detector (53) in the detection unit (5) is transmitted to the rotating needle top detection plate (31). The light is reflected by the surface of the needle detection plate (32), and each light receiving element receives the reflected light. In addition, at the positions of the needle upper groove (41), lower needle groove (42), and rotating hole (43), the light emitted from the light emitting elements of each detector (51), (52), and (53) is is absorbed, and each light-receiving element receives reflected light that has been attenuated accordingly. For this reason, the detectors (51) and (52
) and (53), a needle top detector (51) and a needle bottom detector (52) detect the top and bottom positions of the sewing machine needle, and a rotation detector (53) detects the top and bottom positions of the sewing machine needle.
) detects the rotation speed of the pulley (4) and the main shaft (21). These detection signals are sent to a control section to control the stop position of the sewing machine needle that moves up and down and the number of rotations during the sewing process. Thus, by moving the sewing machine needle up and down in the needle portion, the sewing product placed on the sewing machine table can be sewn at a desired sewing speed. Also, the upper stop position of the sewing machine needle that moves up and down is, for example, the presser plate (33) inside the pulley (4).
The needle upper detection plate (31) is moved against the friction of the cylindrical part (35).
Rotate to the right or left around (see arrow in Figure 3)
. When the needle top detection plate (31) is rotated, the needle top transmission groove (41)
The relative position of the movable mark (12) carved on the pulley (4) changes. As a result, the fixed stop position of the sewing machine needle is moved, and a "thread cutting" operation can be performed at a stop timing suitable for, for example, the upper thread. In this way, "thread trimming" is automatically performed at the appropriate timing, and sewing is interrupted or terminated.When the sewing process is completed and the motor power switch is turned off, the display (lO) goes out. The open state of the power circuit is displayed on the front of the sewing machine frame.

In the above embodiment, the case where the indicator (lO) is provided on the detector cover (23) was explained as an example, but it is not necessarily necessary to provide it on the detector cover (23). It is sufficient if it is provided at a position where it can be verified by facing the rotation index (12) on the front surface of the frame (2). In addition, although the case has been described in which the display (10) is lit continuously when the power supply circuit of the drive motor is closed to display the driveable state, for example, the rotational state of the motor while it is energized is It may be displayed by flashing to distinguish it from the closed state of the power supply circuit. By adopting such a display method, it becomes extremely convenient to be able to distinguish between the closed state of the power supply circuit and the actual driving state of the motor. Furthermore, although the rotating index (12) and the fixed index [indicator (10)] are circular in shape as a pair and are both circular in shape, a single index with an arrow and a point or a triangle, a triangle or a line with each other, and a plurality of It may be composed of an index or a combination of multiple indexes.

As a result, compared to the case where two displays are provided separately, the number of parts is reduced and the display mechanism can be constructed simply and at low cost. Further, since the fixed index of the hand position display means is displayed with light, the position becomes clear and confirmation and adjustment can be easily performed.
