(B) Prior Art Automatic water supply valves are often used in fully automatic washing machines, and a drum type valve is disclosed in, for example, Japanese Patent Application Laid-open No. 45397/1983. In such a conventional method, laundry is washed by washing the laundry by rotating a rotating drum inside the washing tub at low speed, and the washing tub and a water supply source (usually city water) are connected via a water supply valve. , water is supplied from here up to a predetermined water level. Then, the water supply is temporarily stopped, the auxiliary water supply valve for adding detergent is opened, and the water supplied from here is used to wash away the detergent. After this input, the water supply valve is opened again to supply water up to the preset water level.

In this way, the water supply valve opens and closes twice during the washing process.
The auxiliary water supply valve opens and closes once, but in water supply channels where large-diameter piping is installed to ensure smooth water supply, a water hammer phenomenon occurs when the valve is closed, which has various adverse effects. Such a phenomenon hardly occurs in small-diameter auxiliary water supply channels.

(d) Means for solving the problem The solution according to the present invention is to connect a large-diameter main water supply pipe that is connected between the washing tub and the water supply source via the main water supply valve, and a main water supply pipe that connects the washing tub and the water supply A small-diameter auxiliary water supply pipe is connected to the water source via an auxiliary water supply valve and a detergent input chamber, and the auxiliary water supply valve is closed a certain period of time after the main water supply pipe is closed when the water supply is stopped. and a control means for closing the main water supply pipe for the detergent injection time when detergent is added, and the diameter of the auxiliary water supply pipe is reduced so that the amount of water supplied from the auxiliary water supply pipe becomes approximately zero when the main water supply valve is opened. It is.

(E) Action When the main water supply valve is closed, the auxiliary water supply valve (pipe) must be
is open, and the pressure between the main water supply valve and the water supply source is released to the auxiliary water supply pipe side. When the main water supply valve is open, the auxiliary water supply valve is open, but since the diameter of the auxiliary water supply pipe is small, it hardly contributes to the normal water supply to the tank, and thus detergent is not pumped into the input chamber. Pre-stored detergent does not leak into the tank or drain (pipe).

(f) Example An example of a drum-type fully automatic washing machine will be explained based on the drawings. 1 is a washing tub that is elastically attached to the machine frame 2 with a spring, etc. A multi-hole rotary drum 3 is rotatably supported. Reference numeral 4 denotes a motor that rotates the rotary drum 3 via a pulley belt, which rotates the rotary drum 3 intermittently at low speed during washing, and rotates at high speed in cooperation with another motor (not shown) during dewatering.

Reference numeral 5 denotes a main water supply pipe having a diameter of, for example, 1 inch, which connects the upper part of the washing tub 1 and a water supply source 6 such as a water supply via a main water supply valve 7. Reference numeral 8 denotes an auxiliary water supply pipe with a diameter of, for example, 1/4 inch, which connects the upper part of the washing tub 1 and the water supply source 6. The auxiliary water supply pipe 8 is located at a higher position than the main water supply pipe 5, and there is an auxiliary water supply valve 9 in the middle. A detergent charging chamber 10 is provided. Although this loading chamber 10 is located at the rear of the machine frame 2 in the drawing, it is actually located near the front or side of the machine frame 2, and the detergent cup 11 can be taken out by opening a predetermined door. It can be inserted freely.

Thus, when one operation program is designated by the input means 20 after power is turned on, the control means 19
First, the set water level, set water temperature, and stroke in this program are displayed on the display means 21. A typical operation program is as soon as the water supply starts, the rotary drum 3 continues to be reversed at low speed, detergent is supplied as appropriate, and when the water level reaches the set level, steam is supplied to achieve the set water temperature, followed by a "washing" stage in which the water is drained and the rotary drum is rotated. 3 is rotated at high speed for intermediate dehydration, a ``rinsing'' step is performed in which the above ``wash'' step is executed without adding detergent, and water is drained and the rotating drum 3 is removed.
The process proceeds in the order of the final "dehydration" process, in which the water is rotated at high speed. The control means 19 inputs a predetermined signal and outputs a predetermined control signal in order to proceed with this program.

In the "washing" process, when a cup 11 containing detergent is placed in the loading chamber 10 and a start operation is performed, the control means 19 opens the main and auxiliary water supply valves 7 and 9 and drives the motor 4. The water supplied from the water supply source 6 flows into the main water supply pipe 5 and enters the washing tub 1 because the auxiliary water supply pipe 8 has a sufficiently smaller diameter than the main water supply pipe 5. Further, even because the auxiliary water supply pipe 8 is located at a high position, the amount of water flowing into the auxiliary water supply pipe 8 is approximately zero.

The water level in the tank is measured by the control means 19 based on the output voltage of the pressure sensor 17. For example, when the water level reaches a low level, the control means 19 closes the main water supply valve 7 for a predetermined detergent injection time. Then, the pressure between the valve 7 and the water supply source 6 at the time of closing is released to the auxiliary water supply pipe 8 side, and at the same time, the supply water flows into this pipe 8.
It reaches the loading chamber 10. Here, the water mixes with the liquid or powdered detergent in the cup 11, dissolves, flows down into the washing tub 1, and mixes with the water previously contained in the tub. When the set water level is medium or higher and the scheduled time has elapsed, the control means 19 opens the main water supply valve 7 again, switches the water supply to the main water supply pipe 5, and continues water supply. When the output of the pressure sensor 17 corresponding to the set water level is input to the control means 19, the control means 19 closes the main water supply valve 7, releases the pressure upstream of the valve at the auxiliary water supply pipe 8 side, and then closes the main water supply valve 7. Close.
It is sufficient that the time required for the auxiliary water supply valve 9 to close after the main water supply valve 7 is closed is about 2 seconds.

(g) Effects of the invention According to the invention, the water hammer phenomenon is prevented by narrowing the diameter of the auxiliary water supply pipe for introducing detergent and adjusting the opening/closing timing of the auxiliary water supply valve and the main water supply valve. This eliminates negative effects on piping.
There is no need for an expensive water supply valve to prevent water hammer. In addition, since detergent is automatically added by opening and closing the main water supply valve, the auxiliary water supply valve must be opened and closed in accordance with the main water supply valve to prevent the water hammer phenomenon, and the auxiliary water supply valve must also be opened and closed to supply detergent. As a result, the drawback that the frequency of opening and closing of the auxiliary water supply valve increases can also be eliminated.
