Fig. 5 is a perspective view of a conventional natural evaporation type humidifier, Fig. 6 is a perspective view of the humidifier shown in Fig. 5 housed in a rectangular outer frame, and Fig. 7 is a perspective view of the humidifier shown in Fig. 5. It is a block diagram of the hollow porous member which comprises the humidifier shown in FIG. In these figures, 1 indicates a structure in which two thin film-like sheets 2 made of hydrophobic polymer materials such as polyethylene, polypropylene, polystyrene, fluororesin, etc. are superimposed, or one sheet is folded and superimposed. It is a hollow porous member formed into a rectangular shape by gluing or heat-sealing the overlapped ends, and a water supply pipe 3 and a drain pipe 4 communicating with the hollow part 1c are provided at both ends 1a and 1b. ing.
Note that the sheet 2 is a porous material made of a hydrophobic polymer material, and the pore size is adjusted to allow water vapor (gaseous water molecules) to freely pass through but not liquid water (liquid water molecules) to pass through. Countless micropores of 10 μm or less are provided. Reference numeral 5 denotes a film-like interval formed in a wave shape that is rolled up along the hollow porous member 1 so that when the hollow porous member 1 is rolled up, a ventilation path can be formed between the hollow porous members 1 overlapped. It is a board. 8 is a core material made of a flat plate of sheet metal or a prismatic material, and 7 is a core material made of a flat plate of sheet metal or a prismatic material, and 7 is a core material made by overlapping the hollow porous member 1 and the spacing plate 5, and starting from the end 1a of the hollow porous member 1 on the opposite side to the water supply pipe installation side. This is a humidifier that is wrapped around the core material 8 and housed in a rectangular parallelepiped-shaped outer frame 9. A water supply joint 3a provided on a water supply pipe 3 is fixed to an outer frame 9 at a corner. Reference numeral 6 denotes a heat exchanger, and the air that has passed through the heat exchanger 6 is guided to a ventilation passage and humidified by the humidifier 7.

The humidifier configured as described above is housed in an outer frame 9 and attached to the dry air outlet of a heat exchanger 6 such as an air conditioner or a heater, and the water supply port 3 of the hollow porous member 1 is connected to a water supply device. By supplying water into the hollow part of 1, water vapor flows into the hollow porous member 1.
The air passes through the fine pores of the sheet 2 and is discharged into the ventilation passage, humidifying the dry air.

In the conventional humidifier as described above, the hollow porous member 1 and the spacer plate 5 are wrapped around each other to form an oval shape. If the shape is rectangular to match the exchanger, the outer frame 9 becomes a rectangular parallelepiped, so gaps 9a are created at the four corners of the outer frame 9, bypassing the air to be humidified and reducing the effective passing air, resulting in a decrease in humidification capacity. If water passes through the inside of the hollow porous member 1, the hollow porous member 1 swells into the gap 9a due to the internal water pressure, and deformation stress is applied to the hollow porous member 1 itself. As a result, There was a drawback that the sheet 2, which is the material, deteriorated.

This invention was made in view of these problems, and it prevents the bypass of humidified air by closing the gaps formed at the four corners of the outer frame, and also prevents the deterioration of the sheet due to the bulge of the hollow porous member. The purpose is to obtain a device with improved lifespan.

An embodiment of the present invention will be described below with reference to the drawings. FIG. 1 is a block diagram of a humidifier showing an embodiment of the present invention, and FIGS. 2 and 3 are perspective views of the rod-shaped spacer shown in FIG. 1. FIG. 4 is a configuration diagram in which the humidifier shown in FIG. 1 is combined with a heat exchanger. Reference numerals 1 to 9 indicate parts that are exactly the same as or correspond to the conventional humidifier shown in FIG. Spacers 11 are inserted into the gaps 9a at the four corners of the outer frame 9, and are made of, for example, styrene foam, which has relatively low hardness. 11a is a curved surface portion corresponding to the rolled up outer diameter of the hollow porous member 1 and the spacer plate 5, and 11b is a relief groove for the water supply pipe 3.

In the humidifier configured as described above, when it is installed in the outer frame 9 having a rectangular parallelepiped cross section when being incorporated into an air conditioner or heater, the gaps 9a at the four corners of the outer frame 9 are filled by the spacers 11. Therefore, the humidified air bypasses the same part and there is no problem that the humidification performance is deteriorated. Due to the curved surface portion 11a,
Since the hollow porous member 1 and the spacer plate 5 can be held in a natural rolled shape, the hollow porous member 1 can be prevented from expanding outward even if internal water pressure is applied during water flow.

As described above, in this invention, a water supply pipe is provided at one end, and a rectangular hollow porous member made of a hydrophobic polymer material, and a cross-sectional shape overlapped with this hollow porous member have a wave-like interval. A ventilation passage is formed between the hollow porous members by winding the plate, water is supplied into the hollow part of the hollow porous member, and air is supplied to the ventilation passage. A humidifier body configured to humidify air by impregnating it with water vapor that has passed through the hollow porous member, and a rectangular parallelepiped-shaped outer frame housing the humidifier body, wherein the outer periphery of the humidifier body Spacers with almost the same shape as the gap were inserted into the gaps at the four corners between the frame and the outer frame.
Bypassing of humidified air can be prevented, the humidification capacity will not be reduced, and deterioration due to deformation of the sheet due to swelling of the hollow porous member can be prevented, and the life of the humidifier can be greatly extended. .
