Abstract

PURPOSE:To display composition data on a display device with the content optimum to the environment thereof by storing the composition data inputted from a data input key in a non-volatile memory and displaying the same on the display device when a printer becomes the state corresponding to the composition data. CONSTITUTION:When it is inputted to a control part 7 that an operation panel 3 is operated, a microprocessor 5 judges whether the operation for altering displayed composition data is executed and, in the case of the operation for altering the displayed composition data, the control part 7 executes the processing receiving the composition number and data inputted from the data input key 2 of the panel 3 and writes the same in the composition data area corresponding to the composition number of a non-volatile memory 4. When it is judged that the display of a composition is performed, the composition data corresponding to the state of a printer is prepared. The composition data indicated by the composition number is read from the composition data area of the memory 4 and the read composition data is inputted to a display device 1 by the microprocessor 5 to display the composition. When the display is completed, other printer operating processing is taken.

Description

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION [Field of Industrial Application] The present invention relates to a printer equipped with a display capable of displaying textual information conveying various messages.
