DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION (Field of Industrial Application) The present invention relates to a method for peeling off a coating film applied to a building or the like. Therefore, its use can be simply said to be in the construction industry, but its application is also possible in the field of using paint and repainting.

(Conventional technology) Conventionally, in the renovation or renovation of buildings, etc.
To remove (remove) the old paint film, you can use a chemical called a remover to soften the paint film and remove it with a plow, keren, scraper, etc., or you can use a burner, flamethrower, etc. The main methods include a method in which the old paint film is softened using a sander and then removed with a skin plow, or a method in which physical force is applied using a machine such as a disk sander to destroy the old paint film while removing it. .

Of these peeling methods, the two methods mentioned above are used when the old paint film mainly uses synthetic resin as the binder, while the mechanical method is used when the old paint film's binder is mainly cement or silicate. This was the case for a type composition.

(Problems to be Solved by the Invention) In conventional techniques, for example, in methods using a stripping agent, the components of the stripping agent often contain harmful substances, and even direct contact with the body is dangerous. In addition, if the old paint film is one that has been cured by reaction or is of a cement type, the paint film may not be softened even if a stripper or burner is used.

Furthermore, if the old coating was a multi-layer finish coating material (as specified in JIS A 6910), defects would occur in the topcoat, and there was no peeling method that would remove only the topcoat.

(Means for Solving the Problems) The present invention provides a novel coating film removal method not found in conventional methods. For this purpose, firstly, thinner is applied to the painted surface, secondly, a woven fabric is attached immediately after, thirdly, thinner is further applied on top of the woven fabric, and fourthly, a woven fabric containing thinner is applied. Rub it over using a brush, scrubber, etc.
Fifth, the combined melted coating film and fabric is to be peeled off from the painted surface.

To explain the terms and phrases in the structure, the thinner used in this invention is a paint thinner or a thinner used for diluting solvent-based paints such as Lutzker thinner, acrylic thinner, or urethane thinner. When used, it is essential that the thinner be able to dissolve the paint film to be removed.

Next, as the woven fabric to be attached to the painted surface, a woven fabric that is normally used as a cloth may be used. Materials for this woven fabric include cotton, wool, linen, silk, polyester, rayon,
A single material such as acrylic material or a blended material is used. Furthermore, among the woven fabric materials, cotton fabric is suitable for this invention because it easily absorbs thinner. Furthermore, in terms of color tone, in order to understand the impregnation state of the dissolved coating film,
It is better to keep it white.

Devices for applying thinner include devices such as rollers and brushes, and machines such as air spray and airless spray. The amount of thinner applied by these devices varies depending on the type and thickness of the coating film to be coated, but is usually applied in an amount of 0.05 to 0.3 kg/m 2 .

The purpose of rubbing the woven fabric with a brush, scrubbing brush, etc. is to dissolve the paint film and impregnate it into the woven fabric. If this step is omitted, the woven fabric will simply be stuck to the paint film, and it will be difficult to clean it later. When I removed the woven fabric, the old paint film remained intact and did not come off.

Next, it is time to peel off the woven fabric and the dissolved coating film, but it is not good if the coating film remains in a dissolved state, and it is not good if the thinner is completely removed. What can be selected is a state in which some of the thinner in the dissolved coating film is scattered, that is, a state called half-drying. This state can be confirmed by peeling off a portion of the woven fabric and checking to see if a coating remains.

(Function) The thinner application in the first step of this invention is as follows:
This is to soften the old paint film and make it easier to attach the woven fabric in the second step. The reason why thinner is reapplied in the third step is that the first thinner application does not soften the paint film and makes it difficult for thinner to remain on the paint film, but the second thinner application does not soften the paint film. Thinner can be applied to the paint film in the form of a woven fabric. Therefore, the second thinner acts not only to soften the coating film but also to dissolve it.
As mentioned above, the fourth step is to promote the dissolution of the coating film and to facilitate the integration of the dissolved coating film and the woven fabric. Although the paint film to be peeled off can be removed in the fifth step, this method also makes it possible to remove only the top coat of the multilayer finish coating material.

(Example) As an example, a flexible board (4 mm
A board was prepared on which a polymer cement-based multi-layer finish coating material and a synthetic resin emulsion-based multi-layer finish coating material were applied. For the top coat, a synthetic resin emulsion-based water-based gloss paint and an acrylic resin-based solvent-based paint were used.

In carrying out the present invention, a medium-bristled wool roller was used as the thinner applicator, commercially available Lutker Thinner was used as the thinner, and a white cotton rag was used for application.

In addition, after applying the cement-based multi-layer finish coating material and the synthetic resin emulsion-based multi-layer finish coating material, which correspond to the old coating,
The period until peeling (tentatively referred to as the curing period) was set to one week and one month.

As a result, it was possible to remove only the top coat of paint. However, the time it took for the old paint film to soften was shorter when the curing period was shorter.

(Effects of the Invention) According to the present invention, it can be used to remove an old paint film, especially only the top coat of a multilayer finish coating material. Furthermore, since it is possible to remove not only a single-layer paint film, but also only the top coat of a multi-layer finish coating material, it is a very economical method when remodeling or repairing due to defects only in the top coat.

1. In order to remove the paint film applied to buildings, etc., first apply thinner to the painted surface using a roller or spray, and then immediately apply thinner to the painted surface using cotton, wool, polyester, etc.
A woven fabric made of a material such as rayon or acrylic is pasted, and thinner is applied over the woven fabric, and the coating is dissolved and impregnated into the woven fabric by rubbing the woven fabric with a brush, scrubber, etc. ,
This paint film removal method is characterized by peeling off the dissolved paint film and woven fabric as one piece.
