ることによって、プレート枠本体1を取付面に固定する
こともできる。挟み金具を利用するときには、挟み金具
の一部に設けた引掛片をプレート枠本体1の上下両片に
各一対ずつ形成された引掛孔16に係止して、挟み金具
の脱落を防止する。ねじ挿通孔14、取付孔15、引掛
孔16などは、プレート枠本体1の上下両片において、
後面がプレート枠本体1の周壁12の後面と同一平面上

左右幅が変化するのを防止でき、配線器具3の脱落が防
止されるのである。 以上の構成によれば、配線器具3をプレート枠本体1に
装着するときには、第1保持片21の係止凹所23に配
線器具3の一方の側面に突設された係止突起4を係合さ
せた状態で、配線器具3の他方の側面に突設された係止
突起4を案内面22Cに当接させながら第2保持片22
に形成された係止凹所24に導入させるようにすればよ
い。このとき、配線器具3は案内面22cに押圧されて
第1保持片21を撓ませるのであり、最終的には係止凹
所24に導入される。一方、配線器具3をプレート枠本
体1から外すには、外し孔25にドライバ等の治具を挿
入し、配線器具3を第1保持片21に向かって押圧する
ように力を作用させれば、第1保持片21が撓むことに
よって、第2保持辺22と配線器具3との停台状態が解
除され、配線器具3をプレート枠本体1から取り外すこ
とができるのである。 上述したように、プレート枠本体1の周壁]2の後端面
に対して第2保持片22の先端部のみが後方に突出する
形状になっているから、第1保持片21と第2保持片2
2とがともに突出している場合に比較すれば、埋込穴の
左右幅を小さくすることができ施工が容易になるのであ

とにより、第2保持片22が折損するのを防止するよう

出させる場合に比較すれば、埋込穴に要する左右幅を小
さくすることができるのである。なお、第2保持片22
が周壁12の後端面から突出しない程度に周壁12の突
出量を大きくすることも可能であるが、その場合には、
取付面からの突出量が大きくなって美観を損なうことに
なる。また、プレート枠本体1の背面からの第2保持片
22の突出量を小さくすることも考えられるが、配線器
具3の一方の側面の係止突起4を第1保持片21の係止
凹所23に挿入した状態で、第2保持片22の案内面2
2cに配線器具3の他方の側面の係止突起4が当接する
ようにするための最小限の寸法は必要であるから、第2
保持片22の突出量は小さくできないのである。本実施
