Abstract

PURPOSE:To ensure that printing malfunction or fault is detected instantaneously by providing a sensor part which detects the operating condition of a hammer spring on a spring charge-type printing head. CONSTITUTION:A hammer spring 1 is fixed to a yoke 3 through an insulating material 2. A magnet 4 and a coil 5 are mounted on the yoke 3, and the hammer spring 1 is attracted to the other end of the yoke 3 by the magnet 4. A sensor part 6 which detects the operating condition of the hammer spring is provided between the hammer spring 1 and the yoke 3. The hammer spring is closed and opened by a constantly running weak current each time a print command is issued. Consequently, the temporary printing malfunction generated by the surface tension of the yoke attraction surface when the hammer spring is attracted or the printing fault caused by the breakage of the hammer spring can be instantaneously detected.

Conventionally, in the printing mechanism of dot impact printers, a hammer spring is attracted to a yoke with a certain deflection angle by a maknent, and a current is passed through a hammer coil.
The magnetic field was canceled to open the hammer blink, and the deflection force of the hammer blink was used to print on the paper via the ink phone.

[Problems to be Solved by the Invention] The printing mechanism of the conventional spring-jerged printer described above uses suction lIk using a hammer blink magnet.
Due to loads such as surface tension on the suction surface of the yoke during suction, it may not be possible to innovate with just the deflection force, and even if impact is not possible due to breakage of the hammer printer, etc., the product will be output as is. Because the process continues, there are some omissions in the output, which is a drawback.

A hammer spring 1 is fixed to a yoke 3 via an insulator 2. A magnet 4 and a coil 5 are mounted on the yoke 3, and the hammer printer 1 is attracted to the other end of the yoke 3 by a seven-piece net 4. There is a sensing part 6 between the hammer spring 1 and the yoke 3 that detects the operating state of the hammer spring, and a small amount of current is constantly flowing through it, and a printing command is sent to it. It operates on/off.

As explained below, the present invention allows the hammer printer to temporarily detect temporary damage due to the surface tension of the yoke suction surface, etc. by hitting the sensing part that detects the operating state of the hammer spring on the sub-link charge type print head. Printing malfunctions such as malfunctions or broken hammer springs can be detected immediately, and an alarm can be issued to stop printer operation.
This can prevent output with missing characters and has the effect of reducing waste of printing paper and waste of business man-hours.
