Claims (1)
- ほぼ垂直に支持された液晶表示パネルと、該液
晶表示パネルを駆動させて所望の表示を行なわせ
る駆動制御回路と、該液晶表示パネルの前方領域
に人または物体が接近したときにこれを検出して
信号を出力するセンサーとを含んでおり、通常は
上記駆動制御回路が第一の駆動電圧により上記液
晶表示パネルを駆動しているが、上記センサーが
人または物体の接近を検出したときには、該セン
サーからの信号に基づいて、該駆動制御回路が第
二の駆動電圧により液晶表示パネルを駆動するこ
とにより、該液晶表示パネルの視野角を上記前方
領域に向けて変更するようにしたことを特徴とす
る、液晶表示装置。
