Abstract

PURPOSE:To easily regulate the tension of a belt to a predetermined value by providing a spring which is connected to a stay and a tension bracket to apply a tension to the ring-form belt through a drive pulley. CONSTITUTION:A tension bracket 11 is held on a stay 7 with bushes 12. As mounting holes through which the bushes 12 are inserted, the stay 7 is provided with a hole 7a and a circular slot 7b. The stay 7 is so structured as to rotate about the hole 7a in the range of the longer-diameter of the other slot 7b. On the other end of the stay 7, a driven pulley 10 is mounted through a shaft 17. A belt 9 is set to the driven pulley 10 and a drive pulley 14. A receiving part 11a provided on the end of the tension bracket 11 and a receiving part 7c of the stay 7 are pulled by a spring 13, whereby the drive pulley 14 rotates to apply a predetermined tension to the belt 9 through the tension bracket 11.

Conventionally, the belt tension adjustment mechanism of this type of printer has a third
As shown in the figure, one of the left and right side frames 15 has a motor 8 having a drive pulley 14, and the other side has a driven pulley 10, and one of the motor 8 or the driven pulley lO is fixed, Others have a structure in which the tension of the belt 9 is adjusted by changing the position between the motor shaft and the driven booby shaft.

In the belt tension adjustment mechanism of the conventional printer described above, the length of the belt 9 is originally not made with high accuracy, and the accuracy of the distance between the left and right side frames 15 and 16 also varies due to deflection, etc. If both the motor 8 and the shaft of the driven pulley IO are fixed, there is a drawback that it becomes difficult to obtain the belt tension necessary to maintain printing quality. Further, one of the shafts of the motor 8 and the driven pulley 10 is fixed, and the other is adjusted by changing its position until the tension of the belt 9 reaches a predetermined value.
Since it has to be fixed, it has the disadvantage that it takes a long time to assemble the printer.

This tension bracket 11 is held on the stayer by a bushing 12, and the holes through which the bushing 12 passes through for installing the steerer are hole 7a and an elongated hole 7 drawn in an arc.
b, and has a structure that can rotate by the length of one elongated hole 7b with the hole 7a as the center of rotation. Further, a driven pulley lO is attached to the other end of the steerer via a shaft 17. The belt 9 is attached to the driven pulley 10 and the drive pulley 14, and the receiver provided at the end of the tension bracket 11 is attached to the part a.
By pulling the stayer support portion 7C with the spring 13, the drive pulley 14 rotates via the tension bracket 11 and applies a predetermined tension to the belt 9.
