Abstract

PURPOSE:To precisely perform positioning of the longitudinally cut place and to beautifully cut a corner by detecting the area of the light passing part of a V-shaped notch part or a rhombic through-hole in a packaging bag band with a detector such as a laser and detecting dislocation of the packaging bag band in the lateral direction from this area and correcting this dislocation. CONSTITUTION:A packaging bag band 10 is intermittently advanced by the feed rollers 12, 12 and a through-hole 9 is successively stopped to the lower part of a light source 16. At this time, the quantity of light of the laser beams 18 which are emitted from the light source 16 and passed through the said hole 9 is detected with a sensor 17. Since the part of the laser beams 18 which is allowed to collide against the packaging bag band 10 in the specified cross-sectional area is reflected or attenuated, the quantity of unattenuated light is detected and the area X1 of light passing part can be detected. Stopping position correspondent to this area X1 is calculated with a computer in which the relation of the area X1 and the said band 10 is memoried. This calculated value is transferred to a feed motor. The dislocation of this band 10 in the lateral direction is corrected by controlling the rate of feed of the band 10. Thereby the longitudinally cutting predetermined part 7 is allowed to coincide with the actually cutting position based on a second film cutter 14.

Conventionally, a sealed bag is obtained by stacking a pair of heat-bondable plastic films or composite films on top of each other and heat-bonding the peripheral edges to obtain a continuous bag band along the length direction, and by irradiating this bag band with radiation. After sterilizing the inside of the sealed bag, the bag strip is introduced into a sterile packaging chamber maintained in a sterile atmosphere, and in this sterile packaging chamber, the outer surface of the bag strip is sterilized, and the widthwise central part of the bag strip is sterilized along the length direction. The division operation of dividing one sealed bag into two storage bags by cutting the bag, the operation of filling the contents into each storage bag, and the operation of closing the opening of the storage bag by thermal bonding are automatically performed in sequence. However, the method described above is suitable for separating a packaging bag with corners at each corner and filling it with the contents, but in this method, each corner is It is not possible to obtain a square packaging bag (hereinafter referred to as a corner-cut bag) 2 made of a plastic film or the like whose corners are cut into a curved shape (in addition, 3 in the figure indicates the heat-sealed part). The reason why each corner is cut in this way is to prevent the corners from getting caught and causing trouble when the packaging bag is used.

The present inventors investigated a packaging method in which corner-cut bags are continuously separated and the contents are continuously stored therein, and first, as shown in FIG. A large number of packaging bag strings 6, each of which has a constant length of 4, 4 connected to each other through a section 5 to be cut horizontally, are arranged side by side in the horizontal direction via a section 7 to be cut vertically, and at both ends of the section 7 to be cut vertically. substantially V-shaped notches 8, 8. Vertical cutting planned area 7 and horizontal cutting planned area 5
A sheet-like packaging bag band 10 was produced in which through-holes 9 each having a substantially rhombus shape (in the drawing, an arcuate rhombus shape with each edge protruding inward) were formed at the intersections of the two. Next, the packaging bag strip 10 is cut at both planned cutting sections 5.7, and separated into individual packaging bags 2 with openings 11 at the cut points by the planned transverse cutting sections 5, as shown in FIG. An attempt was made to store the contents in this packaging bag 2 through the opening 11 and heat seal the opening 11.

Here, when performing vertical and horizontal cutting using the cutters 13 and 14, the vertical cutting is performed in advance by forming various display printed parts on the surface of the packaging bag band 10 along the horizontal cutting area 7. An eye mark (square detection mark) is formed by printing, and the mark 15 is detected by a sensor (not shown) provided in the packaging device, and the vertical cutting point is positioned based on the detected position of this mark. I did it like that.

However, although the horizontal cutting is performed successfully, the method of positioning the vertical cutting location by detecting the detection mark 15 does not directly detect the corner cut location (the notch 8 or the through hole 9). Positioning becomes inaccurate. Therefore, the position of the vertical cutting point is likely to shift,
For example, the actual cutting location is often shifted from the intended vertical cutting section 7 in the horizontal direction, as shown by a and b in FIG.

It has occurred that it is not possible to obtain packaging bags with well-cut curved corners. Further, with the above-described positioning method, even if there is a printing shift in the printing position of the detection mark, it is not possible to appropriately position the cutting location.

When positioning the vertical cutting point in this device, the packaging bag strip 1o is intermittently advanced in the direction of the arrow in FIGS. At this time, the sensor 17 detects the amount of laser light 18 from the light source 16 that has passed through the through hole 9, thereby detecting the area of the light passing portion of the through hole 9. That is, as shown in FIG. 3.4, the laser beam 18 from the light source 16 has a constant cross-sectional area, but the portion of this beam 18 that passes through the through hole 9 is transmitted to the sensor 17 without attenuation. Arrived and wrapped bag belt 1
Since the portion that hits 0 has a reflection value or is attenuated, the area X of the light passing portion is determined by detecting the amount of non-attenuated light with the sensor 17.

In the above embodiment, the relationship between the detection area and the stop position of the packaging bag band 1° is stored in the computer, and the feeding amount of the packaging bag band is adjusted based on this relationship.
For example, as shown in FIG. 5, the area (standard area) of the light passing portion of the through hole 9 when the packaging bag band 10 is stopped at an appropriate position where the planned vertical cutting portion 7 and the actual vertical cutting point coincide.
It is also possible to detect X2 in advance, compare this standard area X2 with the detected area X1 using a computer, and adjust the feed amount of the packaging bag strip based on the difference between these areas X1 and X2. Further, the cross-sectional shape and cross-sectional area of the laser beam 18 and the manner in which the light source 16 and sensor 17 are arranged with respect to the through hole 9 can be selected as appropriate. Further, in this embodiment, a detector using a laser beam has been described, but a detector using a phototube may be used in addition to the laser beam, and other configurations may be modified in various ways without departing from the gist of the present invention. There is no problem.

As explained above, in the present invention, a large number of corner-cut bags exist at the intersections of the V-shaped notches formed at both ends of the vertically cutting planned parts of the packaging bag belt and the vertically and horizontally cutting planned parts. Since the diamond-shaped through hole is directly detected with a detector to determine the position of the vertical cutting point, unlike the method of indirectly detecting the vertical cutting point using printed detection marks, it is possible to directly detect the vertical cutting point and the actual position. It is possible to precisely match the vertical cutting points, and therefore, it is possible to obtain a packaged product using a corner-cut bag in which each corner is neatly cut. Further, unlike the case where printed detection marks are used, there is no misalignment of the cutting location due to misalignment of the printing of the mark.
