[Detailed description of the invention] (Field of industrial application) This invention consists of sequentially laminating the skin member of a vehicle seat, specifically the skin, wadding, wadding cover, and rigid member, and applying linear treatment to the surface using high frequency. This invention relates to a skin member for a vehicle seat that is formed by being fused together under pressure and heat.

(Prior Art) Conventionally, in the skin member 2 of this type of vehicle seat 1, no particular problem has occurred with respect to the flat surface as shown in the perspective view of FIG. 5 and the sectional view of the main part of FIG. However, as for the bent portion 3, the linear fused portion 6 lacks flexibility and is easily bent, and once bent, it does not return to its original shape, causing problems in terms of appearance.

As a solution to this problem, in order to give rigidity to the skin member, vinyl leather 5 was layered as a rigid member and simultaneously pressurized and heated to fuse them together (Nos. 5 and 6).
However, there was a problem that the appearance was poor because the rigidity was too strong and the curve could not be formed into the desired shape.

(Means for solving the problem) The present invention provides a groove or a through hole in the rigid member of the skin member in a direction perpendicular to the linear direction of the linear fused portion, so as to appropriately soften the rigidity of the rigid member. Accordingly, a vehicle seat is provided with a bent part that can prevent the welder from bending at a sharp angle at the bent part of the skin member integrated therewith, thereby preventing bending of the welder and maintaining the appearance. It is a skin member.

In the skin member of the vehicle seat of the present invention, the rigid member, which is one of its constituent members, is provided with a groove or a through hole in a direction perpendicular to the linear direction of the linear fused portion. The rigidity is reduced in the linear direction, that is, the direction in which bending is intended, and the rigidity is maintained in the direction perpendicular to the linear direction.

On the other hand, the linear fused portion lacks flexibility in the linear direction in which it is intended to be bent, and unreasonable bending may result in breakage.

The bending part made up of these two is a rigid member whose rigidity is softened in the bending direction, so it is partially evenly curved, and the linear fused part of the skin member that is integrated with it is Since it curves in accordance with the curvature of the rigid member, there is no risk of unreasonable bending, and therefore, the linear fused portion does not break.

The rigidity of the rigid member is maintained in the direction orthogonal to the linear fused portion, and the rigidity can serve as a reinforcing material to provide rigidity to the skin and at the same time disperse stress.

FIG. 1 is a perspective view of one embodiment of the present invention, in which vinyl leather 5 with grooves 4 is simultaneously fused using high frequency as a reinforcing member, as shown by broken lines near the bent part 3 of the skin 2 of the vehicle seat 1. to form the bent portion 3.
The direction of the groove 4 is perpendicular to the linear direction of the fused portion 6, and is indicated by a broken line in FIG. FIG. 2 is an explanatory cross-sectional view of the bent portion 3 of FIG. 1. 2 is a skin, 6 is a fused portion, 7 is a wadding, 8 is a wadding cover, 5 is a vinyl leather, 4 is a groove, and 9 is a bead. In FIG. 2, the fused portion 6 of the wading 7 is shown in cross section.

This figure shows vinyl leather 5 as a reinforcing member.
Since it has the groove 4, the thin part of the recess softens its rigidity and curves gently. Therefore, the fused part 6 integrated with this can maintain its curvaceous beauty without bending. It is something.

Figure 3 shows the vinyl leather 5 of the reinforcing member in Figure 2.
FIG. Reference numeral 4 denotes a groove, and a dashed line indicates the linear direction of the fused portion 6 of the skin member, indicating that the linear direction and the direction of the groove 4 are perpendicular to each other. Since the groove part is thinner than the other parts, it is easier to bend. Therefore, due to the groove 4, the vinyl leather 5 is easy to bend in the direction perpendicular to the groove 4, that is, in the linear direction of the fused part 6, and in the direction of the groove. It has the property of being difficult to bend. Note that the two-dot chain line in the figure is drawn assuming a case where the vinyl leather 5 is bent.

In addition to the above-mentioned embodiment in which the vinyl leather 5 of the reinforcing member is provided with a concave groove 4, embodiments of the bent portion include a rectangular through hole 4a as shown in FIG. 4A, and an oval shape as shown in FIG. 4B. There is a through hole 4b, but in addition to this, if the arrangement of the through holes is considered, if the through holes are arranged less in the linear direction and more in the orthogonal direction, the through holes may be square, circular, etc. ,Also,
The bent portion 3 can also be formed by providing a hole with a bottom instead of a through hole.
