以上の構成での電流路は、端子板6、可撓導体5、可動
子3、可動接点4、固定接点8、コイルlaとなる. 次に動作について説明する.以上のように楕或された回
路遮断器で、過電流が通過すると、コイル1aに流れる
電流による磁束が固定鉄心1c、継鉄1d、可動鉄片1
eを磁路として発生し、可動鉄片1eと固定鉄心1cと
の間において電磁力が発生し、引ばね1fの力に抗して
可動鉄片1eを時計方向に回動させる.この動作によっ
て、開閉機構が作動し、可動接点4と固定接点8の接触
状態を解除し、回路が道断される.このとき、可動接点
4と固定接点8の開放により、両接点間にはアークが発
生するが、このアークを分断、冷却して、消弧を早める
ための装置が消弧装置9である.なおこれらの一連の動
作は従来周知の通りである. 〔発明が解決しようとする課題〕 ところが以上のような楕或によると、一対の接点4.8

磁石装置1に発生する磁束が、可動接点4と固定接点8

たもので、簡単な構成によって、電磁石装置の磁束の影
響を減じ、消弧装置へのアークの駆動を妨げないように
することを目的とする.〔課題を解決するための手段〕 この発明に係る回路遮断器は、電磁石装置と一対の接点
との間に磁気遮蔽板を介在させて配置したものである. 〔作用〕 この発明における磁気遮蔽板は、電磁石装置の磁束をシ

器が小形にできるという効果がある.
