Claims

[Claims for Utility Model Registration] A casing with a closed structure provided with a translucent lid member on at least one surface, a concave reflecting mirror having an opening at the top disposed within the casing, and one of the sealing members. A short arc discharge lamp in which a stop tube portion is arranged to protrude from the opening at the top of the concave reflector to the back side; and a discharge lamp fixing device in which the one seal tube portion is fixed to a mounting opening provided in the casing. The discharge lamp fixing member is a metal member fixed to the one sealed tube portion and having a cylindrical shape with a bottom and having an insertion hole for a power supply lead wire in the bottom wall thereof. A manufactured cap and a cylindrical shape that communicates with the insertion hole of the cap and projects outward from the bottom wall of the cap, into which a power supply lead wire is inserted, and which has a threaded portion on its outer periphery.
