Abstract

PURPOSE:To greatly widen the view of a seeker and speed up image processing for high speed target search by providing an image processing part disposed in a dome of a flying body and including a charge coupled device part and a plurality of optical fibers each having one ends connected to the image processing part and the other ends directed to the outside. CONSTITUTION:There are provided an image processing part 6 disposed in a dome 1 provided on the tip end of a trunk 3 of a flying body and comprising an optical system part 4 and a charge coupled device part 5, and a plurality of optical fibers 2 disposed in the dome 1 with one ends their connected to the optical system part 4 in the image processing part 6 and other ends directed to the outside. Incident light through the other ends of the optical fibers disposed on a dome 1 surface passes through the optical fibers 2 and is sent to the charge coupled device part 5 via the optical system part 4 of the image processing part 6 for formation of an entire image. Since the other ends of the optical fibers 2 are distributed over the entire surface of the dome 1, an image over the entire surface of the dome 1 is formed in the charge coupled device part 5.

A seeker used in a conventional flying object is installed in a dome l at the tip of a fuselage 3, as shown in FIG. motor 10
The imager section 12 was fixed and movable on the gimbal supported by the outer gimbal support section 11.
[Problem to be solved by the invention] In conventional seekers used for flying objects, the imager section is fixed to a gimbal, and therefore the field of view of the seeker depends on the movable range of the imager section, that is, the movable range of the gimbal. Was. The gimbal movement range of conventional seekers is usually ±
The limit was about 60°, and the Seeker's field of view was also about this range. Currently, it is difficult to manufacture a gimbal that can move more than ±60', and it is difficult to create a high field of view for the seeker.

Furthermore, since the field of view of the Y part of the image is about 2°, it was necessary to move the gimbal at high speed when searching for a target over a wide area.

本発明は上記の課題を解決しようとするものである。The present invention seeks to solve the above problems.

In the above, the light incident on the other ends of the plurality of optical fibers disposed on the dome surface passes through the optical fibers and is sent to the charge-coupled device section of the image processing section to form an overall image. Since the other ends of the optical fibers are distributed over the entire surface of the dome, an image covering the entire surface of the dome is formed on the charge coupled device portion.

In the above, light incident on the other ends of the plurality of optical fibers 2 disposed on the dome 1 surface passes through the optical fibers 2, and passes through the optical system section 4 of the image processing section 6 to the charge coupled device. The image is sent to section 5, where the entire image is formed. Since the other ends of the optical fibers 2 are distributed over the entire surface of the dome 1, an image over the entire surface of the dome 1 is formed in the charge coupled device section 5.

In addition to the above, since optical fibers are used, the seeker's field of view is wide-ranging over the entire surface of the dome, and because a charge-coupled device is used, image processing and high-speed target searching can be performed at high speeds. [Effects of the Invention] The electro-optical seeker for flying objects of the present invention has the following effects:
Light enters the end of an optical fiber that is placed facing outward over the entire surface of the dome, and sends the light through the optical fiber to the charge-coupled device section of the image processing section, which forms an image that covers the entire surface of the dome. As a result, the seeker's field of view becomes wider, and since a charge-coupled device is used, image processing becomes faster, making it possible to search for targets at high speed.
