CONSTITUTION:A water stopper device 1 comprises an elastic material such as rubber, and a discharge pipe 3 equipped with a valve 3a is inserted through the center portion of a disc body 2 having a diameter slightly larger than the inner diameter of a water pipe 7. In performing an inverting work for a manhole 8, the water stopper device 1 is fitted to the upstream water pipe 9 of the manhole 8 for shutting out a water flow. A rubber hose 6 connected to the discharge pipe 3 is passed through the bottom of the manhole 8, and led into the downstream water pipe 10 of the manhole 8. できるように工夫をこらしたことから作業性もよく、下
水道工事中特に多大な労苦と複雑かつ困難な作業を余儀
なくされるマンホールのインバート作業を作業効率良く
しかも安全かつ確実に行うことができるものであり、ひ
いては下水道工事を通じての環境整備の向上に一段と役
立つものである。

直接排水することにより水の妨害のない無通水状態にて
マンホール底部で所要のインバート作業をし、作業終了
後は上流側の通水管よりウォーターストッパー装置を取
り外すことを特徴とするマンホールのインバート作業方
法。
