Conventional moxibustion devices use the hydration reaction of compounds or the oxidation reaction of metals or metal compounds and auxiliary agents to generate heat, and an adhesive sheet is interposed between the moxibustion device and the skin to buffer the heat. There are some known products, but they are disposable and cannot be used repeatedly. In addition, chemical media themselves that retain and release thermochemical energy as latent heat due to phase transformation of chemical substances are known, but they have not been used in moxibustion devices, and they are unique and simple as moxibustion devices. There were no known configurations.

This invention stores a latent heat type heat storage material inside a small container made of heat-resistant material, seals the opening of the container with an elastic membrane to form a moxibustion device body, and makes contact with the skin of the body. A plurality of thermal buffering adhesives are attached to the bottom surface of the heat storage material, and seed crystals are inserted through the elastic membrane of the main body to phase-convert the heat storage material so as to release the latent heat held in the heat storage material. It is a moxibustion device equipped with a syringe needle.

The present invention will be described below with reference to an embodiment. The moxibustion device body 1 is made of metal, plastic, etc. as a heat storage material 2.
It is formed with a space of an appropriate size to accommodate the required amount. As the heat generating material, a chemical heat generating material, such as a latent heat type heat storage material made of sodium acetate trihydrate and a hydrophilic polysaccharide such as xanthan gum as a carrier thereof, is useful. The above-mentioned heat storage material containing sodium acetate trihydrate and a hydrophilic polysaccharide such as xanthan gum (sodium acetate trihydrate is suspended in the polysaccharide) is approximately 60%
By heating to ~100℃, the sodium acetate trihydrate contained in it is melted into a gel-like (jelly-like and fluid) state, and heat is accumulated, and when this is cooled to room temperature, it becomes a gel-like state. As it is, sensible heat is released, but latent heat is not released, and this state can be maintained extremely stably. However, if necessary, if a trace amount of seed crystals of sodium acetate trihydrate is brought into contact with the stable gel-like material (jelly-like material), it will rapidly crystallize and release the accumulated latent heat. Latent heat amount is approximately 56 cal/g
It has a phase change temperature of approximately 58℃, making it suitable for use as a moxibustion device. In addition, the heat storage material that has released latent heat can accumulate latent heat in a short time by heating it to approximately 60 to 100 degrees Celsius, and even when cooled, it can be maintained as a stable gel-like material while accumulating latent heat. As mentioned above, it can be used in contact with a seed crystal, and by repeating this operation, it can be easily used repeatedly while being loaded in the moxibustion device main body for a long period of time. The content of xanthan gum in this heat storage material is about 1 to 5%, preferably 3 to 5%,
Polysaccharides such as guar gum and locust bean gum can be used in combination.

For this reason, the heat storage material is hermetically loaded into the moxibustion device body 1, and the hermetically sealed portion is preferably made of polypropylene or other material with good heat resistance and transparency so that the behavior of the heat storage material loaded inside can be seen through. . 3 is an elastic film such as an elastic rubber film having a required thickness to seal the opening provided in the moxibustion device main body 1;
An injection needle 5 or the like having a needle a held in the needle tube is inserted through the rubber membrane so that the seed crystal comes into contact with the heat storage material. The size of the above-mentioned moxibustion device body can be appropriately formed depending on the application area, etc., but for example, the diameter of the moxibustion device is approximately 0.5 mm.
~3 cm, and can often be used suitably with a height of about 0.5 to 3 cm.

The thermal buffer patch 6 applied to the bottom 4 of the moxibustion device main body 1, that is, the surface in contact with the skin, is made of polyethylene or other plastic foam, nonwoven fabric, felt, or the like, with a size that corresponds approximately to the bottom of the moxibustion device main body. An adhesive layer 6b of acrylic, rubber or other adhesive is applied to both upper and lower surfaces of a base material 6a such as a sheet or film.
are formed uniformly over the entire surface or partially, and for example, a plurality of them are arranged and temporarily attached to the releasable mount 7. 8
is a release paper that is attached to the adhesive layer on the top surface of the adhesive material arranged on the backing paper. This release paper 8 can be provided with a gripping piece 8a extending outside the adhesive layer to facilitate its release.

Since the present invention is constructed as described above, when the moxibustion device body is placed in hot water and heated, the hot water will enter the internal heat storage material through the sealed elastic membrane 3. The latent heat type heat storage material can undergo phase conversion and accumulate latent heat.

For the moxibustion device body that has accumulated latent heat in this way,
Syringe needle 5 holding a seed crystal 5a for inducing latent heat release
is pierced through the elastic membrane 3 that seals the opening of the main body, and the seed crystal is supplied to the heat storage material 2 and extracted. will be closed. The gel-like heat storage material to which the seed crystal has been given starts phase transformation in the direction of crystallization, releases the latent heat held in the heat storage material, and rises in temperature. If the material 6 is peeled off from the mount 7 and pasted, then the release paper 8 is peeled off and the exposed adhesive layer 6b is pasted on the acupuncture point of the area of the body to be treated, a moderate amount of heat buffered by the adhesive material will be applied. It can be applied to pressure points to provide effective moxibustion treatment. In addition, if the temperature of the moxibustion device rises too high, you can adjust the temperature to an appropriate temperature by laminating multiple sheets of the above adhesive material, and if the temperature drops further, use the laminated adhesive materials. The appropriate temperature can also be maintained by peeling off an appropriate number of sheets.

In addition, since the opening of the moxibustion device body is sealed with an elastic membrane, the pot can be efficiently heated without the latent heat emitted from the heat storage material being dissipated. The heat storage material is sealed by an elastic membrane, and the patch is attached to the skin, so this moxibustion device can be used vertically or horizontally, and can be used on any part of the body. It can also be applied to other parts.

After heat dissipation is completed, latent heat can be accumulated again by placing the moxibustion device body in hot water or the like as described above and heating it, and it can be used repeatedly in the same manner.

The moxibustion device body is provided with a removable covering on its outer surface to prevent wasteful dissipation of heat generated by the heat generating material loaded inside, thereby further enhancing the thermal effect. . The covering body can be formed into a suitable shape according to the external shape of the main body using a synthetic resin foam such as polystyrene, polyurethane, polyolefin, felt, nonwoven fabric, flannel, plastic sheet, or other heat insulating material. Furthermore, the moxibustion effect can be further enhanced by providing various heat-sensitizing agents or the like between the patch or the bottom of the main body and the patch by impregnation or other methods.
