<Prior art> In general, wax build-up molding work in dental technology involves first heating a spatula to soften or melt the solid wax and scooping it out, heating it again to make it liquid, and then mounding it onto the part to be molded. , usually repeated 10 times per tooth. Conventionally, each time this work was performed, the technician's viewpoint would shift away from the part to be molded, making it difficult for the technician to concentrate on the work, resulting in extremely inefficient work.

The present inventor previously filed an invention in Japanese Patent Application No. 106195/1983 in order to deal with such problems. This is shown in FIGS. 8 and 9. In the figure, the contact portion 2 and the dish member 3, which is the built-up molding portion, are heated to about 100°C by the heater 1, and the transfer means, that is, the roller 4, is rotated to transfer the wax rod 5 to the front of the grip portion 6, and the tip thereof is rotated. It is brought into contact with the contact portion 2 and melted.
The melted wax flows downward along the contact portion 2 and stays in the streamlined dish member 3. The molten wax retained in the plate member 3 is poured into the molded portion from the tip or periphery of the plate member 3. 7 is a code.

<Problems to be solved by the invention> The above structure is extremely easy to use when a relatively large amount of wax is used, such as when raising the axial surface or occlusal surface, and it is easy to adjust the amount of wax. The drop-on technique using a small amount of wax is still not perfect when molding into minute shapes such as building up secondary ridges on surfaces or modifying grooves, and the conventionally used PK Thomas instruments etc. need.

<Means for Solving the Problems> The present invention is equipped with a streamlined metal dish member and a heater for heating the dish member, and allows the molten wax retained in the dish member to flow to the treated area. A dental wax build-up molding device that performs build-up molding, the rear end of which is rotatably or removably supported at an appropriate location of the device located behind the tip of the dish member, and the tip thereof passes through the tip of the dish member. A rod-shaped instrument is provided that extends downward in front of the dish member, and the molten wax retained in the dish member is caused to flow down from the tip of the dish member through the instrument and onto the part to be treated. It performs wax build-up molding.

1 to 3 relate to one embodiment of the present invention, in which 8 has its rear end rotatably supported by the contact portion 2, its intermediate portion contacts the tip of the plate member 3, and its tip is placed in the plate member 3. It is a rod-shaped instrument that extends forward and downward of the member 3, and the solid line indicates the used state, and the broken line indicates the non-used state. In use, the rod-shaped instrument 8 is in contact with the tip of the dish member 3, and is configured to be easily lifted upward by an upward force. This is because if the instrument 8 were to have a fixed structure, there is a risk of damaging the part to be molded by pressing the tip thereof against the part to be molded. In actual wax building work using this instrument 8, the tip of the instrument 8 hardly contacts the occlusal surface or the like.

As shown in FIG. 2, a gap 9 is provided at the contact portion between the rod-shaped instrument 8 and the tip of the dish member 3 for flowing the molten wax. , and by forming a narrow groove 10 on the inner surface of the instrument 8. Reference numeral 11 indicates a V-shaped groove formed near the tip of the dish member 3, and 12 indicates a cut portion formed at the tip of the dish member 3.

Since the rod-shaped instrument 8 is in contact with the dish member 3 only at two places, namely the rear end and the tip of the dish member 3, its temperature is lower than that of the dish member 3. Therefore, the wax traveling from the tip of the dish member 3 to the rod-shaped instrument 8 can be cooled and flowed down in a state immediately before hardening. By using the wax in such a state and letting it flow down while lifting the lower end of the rod-shaped instrument 8 from the surface to be treated, the wax can be hardened in a line perpendicular to the surface.
Such a technique is called a drop-on technique, and it is difficult to perform this technique with the molten wax inside the dish member 3 having good fluidity.

FIG. 5 shows a third embodiment, in which a rectangular body 13 is provided at the rear end of a rod-shaped instrument 8, and this is fitted into a support portion 14 formed on the contact portion 2. The support part 14 has a groove 1 that corresponds to the rectangular body 13.
5. Spring 17, 1 that presses and supports the circular groove 16 in which the rod-shaped instrument 8 portion is located and the rectangular body 13.
Consists of 7. Support part 1 of rod-shaped instrument 8
4 is carried out by fitting the rectangular body 13 into the groove 15 as shown by the arrow in the figure. With this structure, the rod-shaped instrument 8 can be made removable.

FIG. 7 shows another example of the use of the device according to the present invention. When molding a wax model of the denture base 20, if the operation area is narrow and it is impossible to build up the denture base 20 using the plate member 3, the rod-shaped instrument 8 is used. This can be made possible by In this case, the tip of the rod-shaped instrument 8 can also be shaped like a spatula. In the figure, 21 is a plaster model, and 22 is an artificial tooth.

<Effects of the invention> According to the invention, when pouring a relatively large amount of wax such as building up the axial or occlusal surfaces, only the dish member is used, and it is possible to build up secondary ridges or form grooves on the occlusal surfaces by using only the dish member. When performing fine processing, a rod-shaped instrument is rotated so as to come into contact with the tip of the dish member, and the wax is caused to flow down from the tip of the instrument. This makes it possible to perform all kinds of processing, such as pouring a large amount of wax and building up a minute amount of wax using the drop-on technique, with a single device.
