[Problems to be solved by the invention] However, the above-mentioned branching work is usually carried out at high places such as on pillars, or in narrow places where it is difficult to work, such as public ditches or pipelines. In any of these methods, the direction of the wires or cables to be branched is limited to a specific direction depending on the direction of the main conductor, so it is difficult to pull out the wires or cables to be branched in a direction other than the specified direction. In this case, it is necessary to apply excessive force to the branch cable connection part or the electric wire or cable to be branched. In addition, all of the conventional methods require cutting of the main conductor, the insulation process is complicated, and it is impossible to perform branching in a short period of time, so the power transmission of the main conductor has to be stopped for a long time. Therefore, there has been a strong demand for a cable branch connector that can easily branch and connect cables even under such unfavorable working conditions.

Next, each part of the above structure will be explained in more detail. It consists of a connecting body 1, copper, aluminum, etc.
The upper conductor connection part 11 is flexible and has a U-shaped vertical cross section so that it can easily hold the main conductor 20.
It is formed in the shape of a letter-shaped groove. Further, a contact 3 made of, for example, a spring is provided on the inner surface of the lower branch body connecting portion 12 to ensure electrical contact with the branch body 2. The branch main body connection part 12 is connected to the connection main body connection part 21 on the upper part of the branch main body 2.
Together with this, a fitting part 50 is formed, and a pull-out preventing part 9 is formed in the fitting part 50 to prevent the branch main body 2 from being pulled out during transportation or assembly work. In this embodiment, the pull-out prevention part 9
is formed by providing a hole in the bottom of the conductor connecting portion 11, inserting the tip of the connecting body connecting portion 21 into the hole, and then crushing the upper portion thereof.
Note that the electrical contact of the fitting portion 50, that is, the connection body 1
In order to make electrical contact with the branch main body 2, it is not necessarily necessary to provide the contactor 3 as in this embodiment, and if the direction in which the branch cable is drawn out is determined in advance, For example, the inside of the fitting part 50 may be processed into a tapered shape and then fixed by bolting from the bottom of the conductor connection part 11 after fitting, or the fitting part 50 may not be provided with a pull-out prevention part. Alternatively, it may have a structure in which it is left in a straight shape and is crimped and compressed from the outer periphery. The branch body 2 is also made of a material such as copper aluminum, and has a bent portion at a predetermined angle near the cable connection portion 22 provided at the tip opposite to the connection body connection portion 21. . Therefore, in the cable branch connection body of this embodiment, the branch cable 30 can be pulled out in any direction without being tied to the direction of the main conductor 20. In addition, since the branch cable 30 exists on the extension line of the bending part, it is possible to prevent unreasonable stress from acting on both the cable connection part 20 and the branch cable 30.

In this embodiment, a hole for inserting the branch cable 30 is provided in the cable connection part 22 in the longitudinal direction.
After the cable is inserted into this hole, it is fixed by crimping or the like. However, the cable connection part does not necessarily have to be formed in this way, and any shape and method may be used as long as it can ensure electrical contact with the branch cable. For example, the tip of the branch body 2 is made into a flat plate and a branch cable with a terminal is attached thereto by bolting, or the tip of the branch body 2 is provided with a hole and the inner surface has a spring shape similar to the above-mentioned fitting part 50. If a contactor is provided and the branch cable 30 is inserted, even if an accident occurs on the branch cable 30 side, it is possible to prevent the power transmission from being stopped for a long time on the main conductor, which can be easily disconnected and repaired. Note that the connection structure between the connecting body 1 and the branch body 2 is not limited to the method of fitting the respective ends together as in this embodiment; The configuration may be arbitrary as long as it can be connected.

Next, at the upper end of the insulator 4 covering the branch main body connection part 12 and the vertical part of the branch main body 2, in other words, at the lower end of the conductor connection part 11, a flexible The proximal ends of the band-shaped heat-shrinkable insulators 5 and 6 are located, and a non-heat-shrinkable tip receiving body 7 and a tip inserting body 8 are provided at the respective distal ends. Next, the method for forming the insulators 4, 5, and 6 will be described.
After integrally molding the insulators 5 and 6 and imparting heat shrinkability to the insulators 5 and 6, the insulators 5 and 6 are inserted into the fitting portion 50 and the branch body 2 to be integrated.
The fitting portion 50 and the branch main body 2 are formed by a method such as integrally molding only the parts, imparting heat shrinkability to all of them, and then heat shrinking the fitting part 50 and the branch body 2. In any case, the insulators 4, 5, and 6 have T in cross-sectional shape.
Since it is integrally molded to have a letter-shaped shape, it has excellent electrical insulation and waterproof properties, but in addition, a waterproofing mixture is applied to the side of the insulator that comes into contact with the connection body 1 or the branch body 2, etc. By doing so, the waterproof effect of the cable branch connection body can be further improved. Further, if a lubricant layer such as silicone or polytetrafluoroethylene (Teflon) is provided at the interface between the insulator 4, the fitting portion 50, and the branch body 2, the insulator can be easily inserted.

Next, a case will be described in which the cable branch connection body of this embodiment having the above-mentioned configuration is attached to a main conductor to perform branching. First, the main conductor 20 with the conductor portion exposed by peeling off the insulator is inserted into the U-shaped groove-shaped conductor connection portion 11, and is integrated by applying pressure with a compressor or the like. After that, the conductor connection part 1
1 is wrapped with insulators 5 and 6, and the tip receiving body 7 and the tip inserting body 8 are fitted together, and then the insulators 5 and 6 are contracted by heating to tightly integrate them (see Fig. 2). At this time, it is preferable to interpose a waterproofing compound at the interface between the insulators 5 and 6 and the conductor connection portion 11 to achieve complete waterproofing. On the other hand, when installing a branch cable, first rotate the branch main body 2 in the desired pulling direction, then connect the branch cable 30 to the cable connection part 22, and then heat-fuse it by wrapping an insulating tape on the connection part. The insulating waterproof layer 40 can be formed by forming a layer or molding it in advance and inserting it into the branch cable 30 and covering it with an insulating tube.
form. In order to shorten the time when power transmission to the main conductor is stopped, it is best to install branch cables in advance. Also, for the same purpose, the conductor connection part 1
It is also possible to adopt a method in which a blade-shaped contact is attached to the inner surface of the main conductor and the blade-shaped contact is inserted into the conductor portion of the main conductor from above the insulating layer.

Although the branch main body 2 in this embodiment is formed in an L-shape with a bent part near the cable connection part 22, it is necessary to provide such a bent part in the branch main body 2. Rather, as shown in Fig. 3, it remains straight, and has a connection body connection part 21 at the top and a cable connection part 22 at the bottom for inserting and connecting the branch cable 30 in a direction perpendicular to this. It may be formed as follows.

[Effects of the invention] As described above, the cable branch connection body of the present invention includes a connection body for connecting to the main conductor, and a connection body connection part for connecting to the connection body at one end,
Since the branch main body has a cable connection part at the other end for connecting the branch cable in a direction perpendicular to the connection part of the connection main body, the branch cable can be pulled out in any direction. The connection body has a connection part with the main conductor that is U-shaped in cross section, so there is no need to cut the main conductor when branching, and heat-shrinkable material is used for the insulator covering the connection part with the main conductor. This makes insulation processing extremely easy.
