Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain ceramic products having high hardness and shape retention force of raw molded article, slight collapse and high water permeability by blending cement with chamotte, frit and water in a specific ratio, molding, hardening and burning. CONSTITUTION:1 pt.wt. cement is blend with 3-5 pts.wt. chamotte or burnt powder or granules similar to chamotte, 0.5-2 pt.wt. frit and water. Then blend is molded and hardened. The hardened material is burnt.

[Detailed Description of the Invention] [Industrial Applications] This invention provides a method for manufacturing highly water-permeable shaped products that can be widely used for tiles, flooring materials, other building materials, civil engineering materials, fire-resistant daily necessities, etc. Regarding.

So-called water-permeable blocks, which are made by baking mineral granules and melting them together using frits, are already known and are used in some flooring materials to prevent water puddles. This is usually manufactured by shaping and firing only the granules, frit, and some shaping aids (glue, etc.), and therefore, before firing, the shape was held only by the adhesive force of the shaping aids. As a result, its strength at that time was extremely weak and its shape stability was poor, making it impossible to mass-produce roof tiles, tiles, and other daily necessities that required precise dimensions and shapes.

The present invention was made to solve such problems, and consists of 1 part by weight of (Boltland) cement, 3 to 5 parts by weight of chamotte or similar pre-fired granules, and 1 part by weight of frit.
After kneading 0.5 to 2 parts by weight with water or the like, molding and hardening the mixture, the product is incinerated to form a highly water-permeable and impressive product.

The preferable shamot used here is one made by incinerating urban dust into pellets, such as the product name Butibal-C, and also one made by crushing waste roof tiles. However, in terms of strength, the former yields better results. As for frits, plate glass powder and the like are advantageous in terms of cost, but boric acid glass powder is more desirable in terms of strength.

In addition, desirable admixtures to be added include:
Examples include small amounts of cement surfactants and ultrafine silica particles (silica fume). Furthermore, although the range of the mixing ratio for each portion is as per the above-mentioned numerical limitations, it goes without saying that the action and effect of the present invention will be diminished if it deviates from that range.

When shaped, hardened, and burned in the same manner as in "Example 1", it showed the same high water permeability, and at the same time, the bending strength was about 5.
It reached 6th grade.

In any of the above cases, since the blank state has excellent strength and formability, it is possible to form it into complicated shapes such as roof tiles and pots. It can also be applied to the surface to make it waterproof and lightweight.
It has also been found that when using a dish or ceramic plate-shaped product, no smoke is emitted when grilling yakiniku, saury fish, etc.

(Functions and Effects) According to the present invention, before the burning precepts, the shape is not maintained only by the adhesive force of a certain shaping aid, but it is once made into something like a hardened product as cement concrete, so the strength at that time is Moreover, when it is fired, the frit melts and firmly bonds the chamotte particles together, and at the same time it covers the thermal destruction of the cement that occurs at that time and prevents it from collapsing. Since there is no associated shrinkage cause, combined with the good shape mentioned above, it is possible to create complex and elaborate shapes that are impossible with conventional highly permeable ceramic products of this type, and therefore the range of application is wide. This has the effect of expanding the range from building materials to industrial parts and daily necessities.
