Abstract

PURPOSE:To improve strength and durability by forming a skin layer such as alumina in an integrated way on a reinforcing layer of net, etc., made of carbon fiber wound on the outer periphery of a core material composed of heat-resistant hollow cylinder. CONSTITUTION:The outer periphery of a core material composed of a heat- resistant hollow cylinder is wound with net or yarn made of carbon fiber to form a reinforcing layer. A skin layer comprising alumina or mullite is formed on the reinforcing layer and integrated.

However, the rolls of this type of kiln, especially the roller hearth kiln, are continuously exposed to high heat of about 1400°C, which causes the rolls to deform, especially to curve downwards, and to make the baked bottoms look like normal ones. In addition to shrinkage, deformation, and distortion, the rolls are further distorted and deformed, resulting in poor yields and short lifespans of the expensive rolls.

EMBODIMENT OF THE INVENTION Below, one Example of the roller for high temperature conditions based on this invention is described in detail using drawing. That is, FIG. 1 is a perspective view showing a roller according to the present invention, and the upper one is a roller for high temperature use, and the hollow body is a cylindrical body with a length L of about 1000 to 3000 mm, and is continuously heated to a high temperature of about 1400°C. It has the strength to withstand. Its diameter D is 20 to 100
mm, and the wall thickness t is approximately 3 to 10 mm. To explain further, the roller soil for use under high heat is integrally formed from a core material 2, a main reinforcing layer, and a skin layer 6.

That is, the core material 2 is a ceramic cylinder, such as an alumina cylinder, a mullite cylinder, or a ceramic cylinder, as shown in the cross section of FIG.
It is made of one or more types of porcelain cylinders, carbon cylinders, etc., and is cast or extruded and then burnt if necessary. The reinforcing layer mainly consists of carbon fibers 4 made into a net shape or wound (in a twilled shape, a helical shape, or any other known winding method) and laminated to a thickness of about 0.5 to 3 mm. The carbon fibers 4 are long fibers, and if necessary, a carbonized adhesive 5, such as phenol resin, isocyanurate resin, melanin resin, etc., is used between the fibers to prevent the fibers from shifting or shifting during manufacturing. It functions as a heat insulating layer under high heat. The skin layer 6 is formed integrally by adhering and fixing raw materials such as alumina or mullite, and then, if necessary, is burnt and integrated to form a cylindrical body.

As mentioned above, according to the roller for use under high heat according to the present invention, (1) Even when exposed to high heat, the roll itself hardly bends due to the reinforcing layer. ■Durability increases because the roll is made of 3 layers,
The lifespan is more than double compared to the previous model, and the cost of expensive rolls can be reduced.
