Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent water or waste from being sucked in a piston bar by enlarging the diameter of the upper end opening of a pump cylinder than that of the piston bar, while forming a gap capable of sliding and air ventilation. CONSTITUTION:When a piston bar 2 moves upward, a ring valve 5 is slid downward along the inner peripheral surface of a pump cylinder 3 inside a valve groove 6. The outer periphery of the ring valve 5 is press-fitted on the peripheral surface of the inner wall of the pump cylinder 3 to keep airtightness against the pump cylinder 3, so that air in a vessel 10 is absorbed. When the piston bar 2 moves downward, the ring valve 5 is slid upward conversely, and the air in the pump cylinder 3 is communicated from an air ventilation groove 8 through an air ventilation passage 7. The air is then discharged from a gap 9 outside a manually handled vacuum pump (a). It is thus possible to prevent water or waste from being sucked in the piston bar.

【特許請求の範囲】[Claims] ハンドルを付設したピストン棒体をポンプ筒に対して往
復引押動してポンプ筒の下端開口部より空気を吸引する
手押式真空ポンプにおいて、ピストン棒体の下端部にピ
ストン棒体より径大な弁座を設け、この弁座にOリング
タイプのリング弁を嵌合する弁溝を設け、弁溝の深さを
弁溝内にリング弁を嵌着したときリング弁が弁座の周面
よりも少し突出してポンプ筒内を気密状態に区割して摺
動するように設け、弁溝の巾をリング弁がリング弁より
も少し広巾に設け、弁座の上壁部の1箇所を溝底深さま
で切欠して空気抜き路を形成し、この空気抜き路と連通
状態に弁溝の底部に空気抜き溝を形成し、ポンプ筒の上
端開口部の径をピストン棒体の径より少し大きくして摺
動と空気抜きを可能とする間隙を形成せしめたことを特
徴とする容器内を減圧する手押式真空ポンプ。
