Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain the subject feed for piglets at lactation stage excellent in taste, high in feed intake and excellent in solubility in water or hot water by blending a feed for piglets at lactation stage with a powdery chicken egg, granulating the resultant mixture and drying the granulated feed. CONSTITUTION:A feed for piglets at lactation stage mainly composed of a powdery milk, grain powder, etc., is blended with a powdery chicken egg, preferably obtained by pulverizing a lyophilized chicken egg or by spray-dried chicken eggs in an amount of about 0.5-10wt.% and the resultant mixture is granulated while adding water. The granulated material is subsequently dried to <= about 10wt.% water content.

In order to improve productivity in pig farming management, it is important to increase the growth rate of piglets and improve their growth performance. Factors that reduce the growth rate of piglets include ■ Death of the sow ■ Low milk production of the sow ■ Too many piglets and not enough milk ■ Piglets are weak and cannot suckle adequately. In order to solve these factors, increase the growth rate of piglets, and improve their growth performance, the characteristics of feed for suckling piglets that are required are good palatability, high penetration, and weaning. Conventional finely powdered feed for suckling piglets has been granulated into granular feed because it reduces stress, promotes smooth growth, and allows piglets to grow healthily. However, it is still not as satisfactory as pig's milk. On the other hand, so-called milk substitutes for suckling piglets have been attempted, in which these powdered feeds or granular feeds are dissolved in water or hot water and given to piglets to drink. It has disadvantages such as poor solubility when dissolved in hot water.

The present invention improves the palatability and solubility, which are the drawbacks of conventional feeds for suckling piglets, and when fed to suckling piglets, increases the piglet's appetite, increases food intake, and improves palatability and solubility. The aim is to provide feed that can improve the amount of pay and raise energetic piglets.

The inventors of the present invention have conducted various studies to solve the above-mentioned problems, and found that after blending chicken egg powder into feed for suckling piglets, granulation and drying were carried out, and the feed for suckling piglets was dissolved in water or hot water. The present invention was completed by discovering that the above-mentioned problems could be solved by feeding the animal or feeding it as is.

That is, the present invention is a feed for suckling piglets, which is characterized by blending chicken egg powder into the feed for suckling piglets, granulating it, and drying it. We provide a feed for suckling piglets that is easy to penetrate and has good solubility when dissolved in water or hot water, which reduces the weaning stress of piglets and eliminates the occurrence of diarrhea.
The purpose is to raise piglets in a healthy manner.

In normal feed for suckling piglets, milk powder such as skim milk powder is used in a range of about 15 to 75%, but in the present invention, if egg powder is used, skim milk powder is destroyed, and soybean isolate protein is used to destroy it. It is also possible to make a nutritionally satisfying feed for suckling piglets by supplementing the amount of the feed.

In the present invention, since feed materials such as milk powder and egg powder are used, granulation can be performed by adding approximately 3 to 5% water, but when granulating by fluidized bed granulation, the amount of water added should be selected appropriately. It may be granulated.

If the particle size of the feed is increased, it will be difficult to dissolve in water, and if fed as feed, it will be difficult to chew, so it is desirable to granulate the feed to an extent that improves fluidity.

The granulated product has a moisture content of approximately 10% or less, preferably 8%.
Dry as shown below. At that time, it is desirable to dry by blowing warm air, but if the temperature is too low, the drying efficiency will be poor, and if the temperature is too high, the nutritional components of the feed for suckling piglets will be lost, so the temperature should be kept at around 60-100°C. The temperature of the product after drying is 60.
It is desirable to keep the temperature below °C. However, if the raw material is granulated under conditions where the moisture content is low, it is also possible to dry at a lower drying temperature.

The feed for piglets of the present invention is blended with egg powder and is granulated and dried, so it has high fluidity and can be adapted to mechanization and labor saving such as automatic feeding in pig farms, and does not cause bridging in feeders. do not have. In addition, when dissolved in water or hot water and fed to piglets, it has good fluidity, so it is easy to handle and has excellent solubility, and because it contains chicken egg powder, it is palatable and easy to eat for piglets. Some of the benefits include that the piglets have a lot of bite and grow well. In addition, when feeding conventional piglet feed as milk, there were disadvantages such as the piglets being prone to diarrhea, but the feed for suckling piglets of the present invention contains egg powder. There are no such adverse effects, and it can reduce weaning stress and promote smooth growth.
