(Prior Art) As shown in FIG. 5, on the floor of a vehicle, etc., a floor carpet 3 is attached to a floor panel 1 via a vibration prevention member 2 made of asphalt or the like and a cushioning material 4 made of a felt layer or the like. This is done to improve the comfort inside the vehicle. The cushioning material 4 is often made of a film layer, but the applicant has previously proposed a method in which the cushioning material 4 is formed from urethane chips or the like (Utility Model No. 58-
No. 108729).

In addition to its shock-absorbing function, the cushioning material 4 also has a sound-insulating function that blocks engine noise generated by the vehicle or external noise, etc. By adjusting the air layer inside the felt layer, the sound-absorbing properties can be adjusted. It is designed to be compatible with various frequency bands.

(Problems to be Solved by the Invention) However, when using a felt layer as the cushioning material 4, if the air layer in the felt layer is increased, that is, if the density of the felt layer is decreased, the buffering and absorbing effect of the cushioning material 4 will be reduced. In addition, the shape retention property deteriorated, and it had the disadvantage that it was easily bent, and also had the disadvantage that the moldability was poor and an accurate shape corresponding to the shape of the floor panel 1 could not be obtained.

(Function) A state in which a large number of recesses for sound insulation are formed in the cushioning material, these recesses are formed with a porosity of 20 to 40%, and these recesses are sealed by the backing material of the floor carpet or the floor panel side. Therefore,
An air layer is formed in this cushioning material for sound insulation. Therefore, by adjusting the size of this air layer, it is possible to obtain a floor structure for a vehicle, etc., which has extremely excellent cushioning properties and excellent sound absorption characteristics that can accommodate various frequency bands.

FIG. 2 shows a partially sectional perspective view of the cushioning material 14 in a state before the carpet layer 13 is joined to the cushioning material 14. In this embodiment, the cushioning material 14 has a sound insulating material on the side of the carpet layer 13. A large number of recesses 15 are formed, and the upper end openings of these many recesses 15 are sealed with a backing material 13c of the carpet layer 13, as shown in FIG. In this embodiment, a large number of recesses 15 are formed on the upper surface side, but they may be formed on the lower surface side of the cushioning material 14, or on both the upper surface and the lower surface.
In this embodiment, the recesses 15 are formed with the same size, but different sizes may be used.In addition to disposing the recesses 15 uniformly, the recesses 15 may be formed only in necessary areas.

Here, the degree of sound insulation in the frequency range of 350Hz to 1000Hz of curve A is excellent, and the degree of sound insulation is excellent in the frequency range of 320Hz to 1000Hz, which corresponds to this range.
It is preferable to use this cushioning material with a porosity of 20% in a vehicle equipped with a 4-cylinder engine that produces noise at 1100 Hz. In addition, the sound insulation degree in the frequency range of 900Hz to 1500Hz of curve B is excellent, and the degree of sound insulation is excellent in the frequency range of 820Hz to 1500Hz.
It is preferable to use this cushioning material with a porosity of 40% for vehicles equipped with a 6-cylinder engine that produces 1200Hz noise.
