Claims

A pump action chamber 10 is formed by a pump housing 8 in which a check valve 12 on the suction side and a check valve 12 on the discharge side are arranged, and a diaphragm 9 on which pulsating air pressure generated in the engine 1 acts. The check valve 12 has a valve hole 14 opening in a wall 11 of the casing 8 forming the pump action chamber 10, and a center portion fixed to the wall 11. The valve hole 14 is made of a flexible thin flat plate which is made of a flexible thin plate.
The valve body 15 is used in a fuel system where the oil level in the fuel tank 4 is higher than the float chamber 3 of the carburetor.
A check valve for a membrane fuel pump, wherein a surface of the wall body 11 to which the wall body 11 is fixed is formed to be more convex than an opening end surface of the valve hole 14.
