Abstract

PURPOSE:To restore a hull level by installing an anti-rolling tank in a high position of the hull, and when it is tilted due to hull damage or the like, floating the hull after exhausting water in the tank whiled lowering the central position. CONSTITUTION:Each of anti-rolling tanks 2 is installed on both symmetrical sides on a bridge deck 3 situated at a relatively high position of a hull 1. Each bottom part of these tanks 2 is interconnected to a connecting pipe 5 via a throttle 4, and it functions as an anti-rolling device. Each drain pipe 7 is connected to these bottom parts of the tanks 2 via an on-off valve 8, and seawater in the tank 2 is made so as to be drainable in a short time by opening of this valve 8. If submergence is starting at time of damage to the hull 1, the on-off valve 8 is opened, and thereby water in the tank 2 is rapidly discharged and the center of gravity of the hull 1 is moved downward, therefore the hull 1 is floated and a tilt angle of the hull 1 due to the damage is reduced and restored. Thus safety is improved.

Conventional hulls have a watertight compartment structure divided by a number of watertight transverse bulkheads, assuming that the outer skin of the hull is damaged for some reason and seawater infiltrates into the internal compartments. A watertight sliding door that can be closed hydraulically using a push button in the wheelhouse is installed at the entrance and exit of each watertight bulkhead, and a cross flooding line connects the port and starboard compartments to prevent the hull from tilting in the event of flooding. A cross-flooding device is installed to reduce the number of cross-flooding lines, but in the engine room of a normal ship, it is difficult to install valved piping for a large number of cross-flooding lines due to the narrow space. The operation of remotely controlling these numerous valves is complicated. Furthermore, since it is necessary to open and close the cross flooding line at the damaged part of the ship's hull, it takes time to check the damaged part of the ship's hull. Furthermore, the structure is complicated, and there is a further problem in that it is necessary to install a large number of extremely expensive watertight sliding doors.

In addition, in order to reduce the shaking of the ship, anti-rolling tanks, i.e. anti-rolling water tanks, are installed on the port and starboard sides, and a communication pipe is installed to connect these tanks. When the ship's hull is listed due to damage to the tank, the influence of the free liquid level, in which the water in the tank moves through the communication pipe of the tank, which increases the ship's heel due to the free water effect. was there.

The present invention was made in order to solve such conventional problems, and when the outer skin of a ship hull equipped with a water-reducing water tank is damaged, the water in the tank can be quickly and completely drained out of the ship within a predetermined period of time. The object of the present invention is to provide a restoring device in the event of hull damage, which can float the hull by discharging the hull, lower the center of gravity of the hull, and reduce the angle of inclination of the hull.

As a means for solving the above-mentioned problems, the ship hull damage restoration device of the present invention has a predetermined anti-sway water tank installed on both port and starboard sides of the ship at a relatively high position, such as on the bridge deck. , for example, by connecting a drainage pipe with a sufficiently large diameter to drain the water in the anti-sway tank outside the ship within a short period of time specified by the ship. When the hull is damaged, flooded, and listed,
By opening the on-off valve, the water in the anti-sway water tank is quickly discharged to the outside of the ship, raising the hull and lowering the center of gravity of the ship. By eliminating the water effect, the heel angle is reduced, allowing the hull to recover and increasing safety.

FIG. 1 is a cross-sectional view of a ship equipped with a righting system in the event of hull damage according to the present invention. The ship 1 includes anti-rolling tanks on both port and starboard sides in order to reduce the shaking of the ship 1. That is, the anti-swaying water tank 2 is arranged on the bridge deck 3, which is located at a relatively high position. Each of these anti-swaying water tanks 2 is connected at its bottom via a communication pipe 5 through a throttle 4, so that water in the left and right anti-swaying water tanks 2, that is, seawater W, can freely flow through the throttle 4. ing.

Next, the other end of a drain pipe 7 whose one end is a hull discharge lower A opening on the bow deck 6 is connected to the bottom of these anti-swaying water tanks 2. An air-operated on-off valve 8 is interposed in the middle. The diameters of these drain pipes 7 and on-off valves 8 are set so that all of the seawater W in the anti-swaying water tank 2 can be discharged out of the hull 1 within the time specified for the hull, for example, 15 minutes in this embodiment. It has a sufficiently large diameter.

In this example, the internal frictional resistance of the drain pipe 7 is h (m),
Assuming that the fluid flow velocity in the drain pipe 7 is v (m/5 ec) and the acceleration of gravity g is 9.8 (m/sec"), the water surface of the seawater W in the anti-swaying water tank 2 is as shown in FIG. 1 to the hull discharge lower A of the drain pipe 7 is expressed by the following formula: (2) Here, the diameter of the drain pipe 7 is 125fi, and the pushing water head H 40

In the hull 1 equipped with the above-described righting device, the anti-sway water tank 2 normally performs its original function of reducing shaking. In the event of damage to the outer panel of the hull 1, this information will be immediately communicated to the crew on board, and at the same time, the on-off valve 8 of the drain pipe 7 of the anti-swaying water tank 2 will be turned on and off by pressing the open switch in the wheelhouse. The seawater W in the rocking water tank 2 is completely discharged within a predetermined short time due to the water head difference.

In this case, if the hull has watertight compartments with watertight transverse bulkheads and watertight sliding doors are installed to close the entrances and exits of these compartments, in the event of damage to the outer panel of the hull 1, the inside of the wheelhouse may be damaged. Of course, the watertight sliding door can be closed using a push button. In addition, if a cross flooding line is provided that connects the left and right watertight compartments,
Of course, it is also effective to reduce the inclination of the hull 1 by operating a push button in the wheelhouse so as to connect the left and right watertight compartments with a flounding line.

Next, by using the anti-sway water tank 2, which is a feature of the present invention, to urgently discharge the seawater W in the tank in an emergency such as when the hull is damaged, the center of gravity of the hull 1 naturally moves lower than the state before discharge. I will do it. In addition, the hull 1 has discharged seawater W.
As a result, the angle of inclination of the hull 1 due to damage is reduced, and the hull 1 is able to right itself and its safety is improved.

Furthermore, in the past, when a ship with a water-reducing water tank was damaged and the hull listed, the problem was that the inclination would increase due to the influence of the free liquid level of seawater in the water-reducing tank. According to the present invention, when the hull is damaged, all seawater is discharged from the anti-sway water tank, so such effects are eliminated.

As explained above, in ships adopting the righting device of the present invention, the anti-swaying water tank installed at a relatively high position on the ship's hull normally performs its original function to reduce the shaking of the ship.
