Abstract

PURPOSE:To promote hardening of an adhesive and to shorten a pressing time necessary for bonding by mixing a hardening promoter in order to promote hardening of the adhesive which is utilized for bonding a ligneous decorative veneer on the ligneous base material in the production stage of the ligneous decorative veneer. CONSTITUTION:In the case of producing the ligneous building material by applying an adhesive to the lumber flakes 1 and making them to a block by clamping, molding and slicing the formed flitch 3 and bonding the obtained ligneous decorative veneer 5 on the ligneous base material 11 by the adhesive 12, a hardening promoter is mixed in order to promote hardening of the adhesive 12 which is utilized for bonding the ligneous decorative veneer on the ligneous base material 11 in the dyeing stage of the lumber flakes 1 in the production process of the ligneous decorative veneer 5. As the hardening promoter, for example when the adhesive 12 utilized for bonding the ligneous decorative veneer on the ligneous base material 11 is the urea-vinyl acetate based adhesive 12, an ammonium chloride soln. is utilized. Thereby hardening of the adhesive penetrated into the ligneous decorative veneer is promoted by the hardening promoter mixed therewith and therefore a pressing time can be shortened.

[Prior Art] The applicant of the present invention has already filed a patent application in 1982 for manufacturing decorative wooden veneers by press-molding wood thin pieces into blocks using pine glue as an adhesive and slicing the block-formed flitches. The application has been filed as No.-211756. Then, this wooden decorative veneer is adhesive-pressed onto a wooden base material such as plywood using an adhesive to produce a wooden building material.

The decorative wood veneer 5 used in the present invention is manufactured as follows. That is, as shown in FIG. 1, a thin piece of wood 1 obtained by slicing wood is first dyed, then dried, an adhesive is applied to the thin piece of wood 1, and then the thin piece of wood 1 is pressed and formed using a press device 2. The flitches 3 are then sliced by a slicing blade 4 to form a wood decorative veneer 5. As shown in Fig. 2, the wood thin piece 1 has a thickness L of 0.05 to 0.80s+i* (preferably 0°10-0.50m5) and an area of 6-40m5.
06-4O0 is preferably 25-250+a theory 2), and the aspect ratio (vertical width a/width b) is 0.4-7.0 (preferably 0.8-3.0). These wood flakes 1 may be twisted. Further, as long as the above-mentioned shape is 60% or more, there is no problem even if dimensions other than the above are mixed in.

Therefore, in the present invention, a wooden building material is manufactured by bonding the decorative wooden veneer 5 obtained as described above onto a wooden base material 11 such as plywood with an adhesive 12 and pressing it. However, there is adhesive 1 on the wood decorative veneer 5.
Since the hardening accelerator 2 is mixed, when the adhesive 12 is applied to the surface of the wooden base material 11 as shown in FIG. , adhesive 12
The hardening is accelerated by the hardening accelerator mixed into the wood decorative veneer 5, thereby shortening the pressing time. In particular, the wood decorative veneer 5 used in the present invention is obtained by slicing the flitch 3 formed by applying adhesive to the wood thin piece 1 and forming blocks by pressure molding. A void is formed, and when the decorative wood veneer 5 is bonded, the adhesive 12 penetrates into this small void and fills the small void, but the adhesive 12 in this area is also mixed into the decorative wood veneer 5. Curing is accelerated by a curing accelerator.

[Effect of the invention 1 As described above, the present invention is to apply adhesive to a thin piece of wood and press-form it into a block, and then slice the flitch. A curing accelerator for accelerating the curing of the adhesive used to bond decorative wood veneers to wood base materials in the manufacturing process of decorative wood veneers when bonding them with adhesives to produce wooden construction materials. This has the advantage that the curing of the adhesive that has penetrated into the decorative wood veneer is accelerated by the curing accelerator mixed into the decorative wood veneer, thereby shortening the pressing time.
