Claims (1)
態で挟まれた被溶接体に対して、溶接電源と溶接
トランス間に接続されたシリコン制御整流素子の
導通角を制御して溶接電流を流す抵抗溶接機にお
いて、溶接電流を検出するための溶接電流検出手
段と、溶接の条件を設定するための溶接条件設定
手段と、前記溶接電流検出手段により検出された
電流値と前記溶接条件設定手段により設定された
電流値とを比較して溶接電流を設定電流値に制御
する電流制御手段とのそれぞれを備え、被溶接体
が両電極棒に当接している時点に溶接トランスの
2次側ケーブルに亀裂が生じたことを検出するた
めの試験電流を溶接トランスの2次側に流し、該
試験電流値を予め測定した溶接トランスの2次側
ケーブルに亀裂が生じていないときの基準電流値
と比較し、前記試験電流値が予め設定した複数回
連続して前記基準電流値以下になつたときに前記
溶接トランスの2次側ケーブル断線予知信号を出
