Claims (1)
態で挟まれた被溶接体に対して、商用電源と溶接
トランス間に接続されたシリコン制御整流素子の
導通角を制御して溶接電流を流す抵抗溶接機にお
いて、溶接電流を検出するための溶接電流検出手
段と、溶接の条件を設定するための溶接条件設定
手段と、前記溶接電流検出手段により検出された
電流値と前記溶接条件設定手段により設定された
電流値とを比較して溶接電流を設定電流値に制御
する電流制御手段と、前記電極棒の加圧力を任意
の加圧力に制御するための加圧力制御手段とのそ
れぞれを備え、かつ、該加圧力制御手段による前
記電極棒の初期加圧力を電極棒先端が比較的軽く
当接する程度の加圧力に設定し、予め設定した低
い初期加圧力で両電極棒が被溶接体に当接した後
に前記電極棒の加圧力を溶接に必要な所定の加圧
力に切替えてから溶接電流の通電を開始する低初
期加圧制御と、予め設定した高い初期加圧力で両
電極棒が被溶接体に当接した後に前記電極棒の加
圧力を溶接に必要な所定の加圧力に切替えてから
溶接電流の通電を開始する高初期加圧制御と、初
期加圧力付与時点から両電極棒に溶接に必要な所
定の加圧力を付与して溶接電流を通電する所定加
圧制御とのうちのいずれか1つに切替えて加圧・
通電制御を行う加圧力切替制御手段を備えること
