Abstract

PURPOSE:To dispense with wiring between an exchange unit and a slave unit by performing radio transmission/reception between the exchange unit which performs mutual switching of an extension and a line wire and the slave unit to which a telephone set is connected. CONSTITUTION:The radio transmission/reception circuit 12 of the exchange unit A is divided corresponding to the number of extensions i.e., the number of slave units B, and independent radio transmission/reception between each slave unit B and the exchange unit A is performed. The exchange unit A detects an incoming call from the line wire, and transmits the wave signal of each extension. Each slave unit B, when receiving the signal, rings the bell of a slave telephone set 20 connected to a connector 17. When the handset of either slave unit B is raised, the slave unit B to which the slave telephone set 20 is connected returns an off-hook signal to the exchange unit A.

In the telephone system of the present invention, wireless transmission and reception is performed between an exchange unit that mutually switches between internal and external lines and a child unit to which a telephone is connected. Therefore, there is no need for wiring between the exchange unit and each room, and a desired slave telephone can be used. Additionally, by incorporating a speaker into the child unit, a specific ringtone can be played in each room.

The wireless transmission/reception circuit 12 of the exchange unit A is divided into circuits according to the number of extensions, that is, the number of child units B, and independent wireless transmission and reception is performed between each of the two child units B and the exchange unit A. Then, when there is an incoming call from an outside line, exchange unit A detects the incoming call and transmits radio signals for each extension line. When each child unit B receives the signal, the child phone 20 connected to the connector 17
ring the bell. When the handset of any of the slave telephones 20 is lifted, the slave unit B to which the slave telephone 20 is connected sends an off-footer signal back to the exchange unit A. When exchange unit A receives this signal, it stops the bell ringing signal and connects its slave unit B to the outside line. This allows normal conversation with the outside world. The signal transmission and reception between exchange unit A and child unit B during that time is simply voice signals being transmitted and received via radio waves. When the conversation ends and the receiver is hung up, the child unit B sends an off-footer signal to the exchange unit A, and the exchange unit A disconnects from the outside line. Similarly, when making a call to the outside from the slave phone 20 in each room or talking between extensions, wireless transmission and reception is performed between exchange unit A and slave unit B, and the same control as above is performed. It will be done.

Here, since each child unit B is provided with a general telephone connector 17, any telephone can be used. In addition, since signals are transmitted and received between the exchange unit A and each child unit B using radio waves, there is no need to connect them with wired cables as in the past, and the amount of wiring does not change even if the number of child telephones 20 increases. Therefore, the total amount of wiring is reduced, the wiring work is simple, the construction cost is low, and incorrect wiring is prevented.

Although each child unit B requires an AClooV power source, in the above embodiment, the child unit B is of a wall-embedded type, which is convenient from the point of view of wiring work. Furthermore, since the slave unit B has a built-in speaker 18, even when a telephone is not connected, the speaker 18 can make a bell ringing sound when a call is received. Furthermore, it is also possible to perform wireless transmission and reception between exchange unit A and slave unit B using the power line carrier method, and in this case, it is also effective to make slave unit B a wall-embedded type and install it near the outlet 19. It is.

As described above, according to the present invention, wireless transmission and reception is performed between the exchange unit that mutually switches between internal and external lines and the child unit to which the telephone is connected, so that the wiring between the exchange unit and the child unit is This eliminates the need for wiring, reduces the amount of wiring, simplifies wiring work, reduces construction costs, prevents incorrect wiring, and allows the use of any telephone. Furthermore, if the slave unit has a built-in speaker, it can make a ring tone even when the telephone is not connected.
