Abstract

PURPOSE:To enable a user to decide the cause of an erroneous input in order to evade the second wrong input by displaying only the input wrong password. CONSTITUTION:A password is checked when the input of the password data is through up to four digits after the guidance is displayed for input of the identification number. When the coincidence is confirmed between both identification numbers, these coincident numbers are not displayed and the next processing is carried out. When no coincidence is obtained between both identification numbers, the noncoincidence conditions are checked. Then the noncoincidence, if larger than N times, is treated as the abnormality. When no coincidence is obtained between both numbers and the abnormality is not treated, the input guidance display is carried out again and at the same time the identification number inputted wrong is displayed. A customer is aware of the mere mispush of the identification number by reference to the reinput guidance and then inputs a correct identification number. Thus it is possible to decide the cause of the wrong input and to decrease the card invalidating/ collecting frequency.

かが判断できる様になるという効果があり、また誤入力
の原因が判断てきることにより、カードの無効化、回収
といった処理が少なくなるといった効果もある。
