Abstract

PURPOSE:To make a pair of opposed heavy pipes stand at the same time by connecting with a wire the upper portions of a pair of opposed heavy pipes, which are laid with sleepers put under the outside ends, in order to tighten the wire with a tightener. CONSTITUTION:Both delivered pipes 1, 2 with respective heads turned to the outsides to put proper sleepers under are laid on a straight line and have the engaged portions 1a, 2a mounted on bearings 6 with pins 7, respectively. A wire 8 for connecting the upper portions of both pipes 1, 2 has the center provided with a ratchet tightener 9. Operation of the tightener allows both pipes 1, 2 to stand at the same time. Similar operation is done to make other two pipes stand at preset positions, and four pipes in total are connected in rectangle with side pipes to form a vehicle.
