Abstract

PURPOSE:To make a pair of opposed heavy pipes stand at the same time by connecting with a wire the upper portions of a pair of opposed heavy pipes, which are laid with sleepers put under the outside ends, in order to tighten the wire with a tightener. CONSTITUTION:Both delivered pipes 1, 2 with respective heads turned to the outsides to put proper sleepers under are laid on a straight line and have the engaged portions 1a, 2a mounted on bearings 6 with pins 7, respectively. A wire 8 for connecting the upper portions of both pipes 1, 2 has the center provided with a ratchet tightener 9. Operation of the tightener allows both pipes 1, 2 to stand at the same time. Similar operation is done to make other two pipes stand at preset positions, and four pipes in total are connected in rectangle with side pipes to form a vehicle. Four pipes are formed as legs, on which casters or air bearings are mounted, however pins 4, 7 and a temporary board 5 removed in such a case.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION [Field of Industrial Application] The present invention relates to a jig for standing up a pair of heavy pipes facing each other at a constant interval.

[Prior Art] Various vehicles are known that use four heavy tubes as legs and load heavy objects, but because the vehicles are huge, their constituent parts are often brought in and assembled on site.

During the assembly, it is essential to erect the heavy tubes, which were brought in horizontally, into a rectangular shape at predetermined intervals. In this work 1, if there is no suitable cargo handling equipment, it can be done by changing the setup on the spot and towing it from a distance with a wire.
