  1. 発光素子と送信回路または受光素子と受信回路
    がリードフレーム上に実装され、少なくとも前記
    発光素子の発光面または前記受光素子の受光面が
    光透過性部材により覆われてなる光伝送モジユー
    ルにおいて、前記発光面または受光面が前記リー
    ドフレームの一部を構成する複数のリード端子の
    縦列方向を向くように構成したことを特徴とする
    光伝送モジユール。
