【考案の詳細な説明】
(産業上の利用分野)
本考案は、サブタンクのオーバーフロー口から
溢れ出る気化しやすい成分の含有量が少ないオー
バーフロー燃料を補助ポンプにより優先的にサブ
タンクに押し上げ、その気化しやすい成分が少な
いサブタンク内の燃料を気化しやすい成分がほと
んどないリターン燃料と共に燃料ポンプによつて

に戻すと共に、サブタンク内の過剰燃料をオーバ
ーフロー口からオーバーフローして燃料タンクに
戻し、さらに燃料タンク内の燃料をサブタンクに
押し上げる循環を生じさせることは従来から知ら
れた周知の技術であるが、自動車の通常送行では
エンジンからリターンパイプによりサブタンクに
戻される燃料は燃料ポンプによりエンジンに供給
される燃料の80〜90%にも及び、その燃料はエン
ジンの熱で気化しやすい低沸点分の燃料は気化さ
れ、これが液体燃料と混合された態でリターンさ
れたものであが、サブタンク内で該気化ガスは上
方に逃がれて一部がオーバーフロー口から燃料タ
ンク中に分離するもので、サブタンク内の燃料中
には気化しやすい成分の含有量が少なく、燃料タ
ンクにオーバーフローする燃料も気化しやすい成
の含有量が当然に少ない。しかるにこのオーバー
フロー燃料のみを選んで補給管によりサブタンク

戻し、補助ポンプ及び燃料ポンプのベーパーロツ
クの原因となる気泡及び気化しやすい成分の含有
が殆どない燃料を補助ポンプ、燃料ポンプ及びエ
ンジンに吸い込ませる構成を得ようとするもので

ンク1内の燃料を押し上げてサブタンク3に補給
する補助ポンプ13を備える補給管9と、燃料ポ
ンプ6より供給してエンジン側で供給過剰になつ
た燃料をサブタンク3に戻すリターンパイプ8
と、サブタンク3内の過剰燃料を燃料タンク1に
戻すオーバーフロー口14とを設けてなる構成に
おいて、補給管9の吸込口10を、カバー16で
覆い、そのカバー16に気泡逃出口18と燃料タ
ンクの下層に連通する流入口17を設け、さらに
前記オーバーフロー口14とカバー16とを連通
するオーバーフローパイプ19を設けたことを特

量が少ない燃料に補充して燃料ポンプ6によりエ
ンジンに供給し、燃料タンク1の気化しやすい成
分の含有量が比較的多い燃料のサブタンク3への
補助ポンプ13による押し上げる率を可及的に少
