Abstract

PURPOSE:To improve the operating efficiency of an automatic cash transaction device by attaining an off-line exchange process of notes or coins in the waiting time for on-line communication with a center at bank transaction for reception/ payment of cash. CONSTITUTION:When a customer selects an exchange process via a customer operation part 3 during the communication with a center, a main control part 1 initializes a note input/output part 4 or a coin input/output part 5 so as to perform the exchange process in parallel with the communication with the center. For instance, the customer wants to exchange the notes for the coins and puts the notes into the part 4. Thus the part 4 confirms the types and the number of sheets of these notes. Then the main control part 1 produces a payment instruction to the part 5 to comply with the desired types and the number of sheets inputted from the customer via the part 3. Thus the part 5 discharges the coins in response to the received instruction. In such a constitution, the customer can apply an off-line exchange process during the on-line communication with the center. Thus the cash transaction processing time is shortened.

幣人出金部4もしくは硬貨人出金部5は両替処理を始め
る(113)。
