Abstract

PURPOSE:To simplify installation and enhance the air purifying performance by arranging a smoke sensor in the neighborhood of the flow-in hole of a box, and providing a filter in this box and also a fan to be rotated by a blower motor which operates in compliance with the output of the smoke senfor. CONSTITUTION:A gas flow-in hole 2 and exhaust hole 3 are opened in a box 4 constituting the body of an air purification device 1, and near the flow-in hole 2 a smoke sensor 5 is installed. A filter 6, an exhaust fan 7, and a blower motor 8 for driving it are installed in this box 4. The exhaust fan 7 is rotated at a low speed normally, but at a high speed by the blower motor 8 if the operational signal from the smoke sensor 5 commands it. This facilitates installation and dismantlement of the air purification device 1 to a vehicle etc. and associated electric wirings or the like, and enables performance of air purification at necessary times in a proper manner in compliance with actuation of the smoke sensor 5.

Conventionally, air purifiers installed inside vehicles have a sensor attached to one spot on the ceiling of the vehicle, while air purifiers are installed behind the rear seats of the car and drive and control the fan based on the activation signal from the sensor. However, it was not easy to manufacture as it required connecting control signal lines and power lines between the sensor position and the fan drive control circuit. In particular, when sensors and air purifiers are retrofitted to passenger cars in response to user requests, the work of installing the sensors and wiring between the devices is complicated, and this also has the disadvantage of damaging the exterior appearance of the vehicle interior. In addition, in passenger cars, etc., the sensor is installed at a fixed location on the ceiling, so even if the front seat is able to detect a small amount of cigarette smoke, the back seat may be full of cigarette smoke. However, the sensor sometimes fails to detect the air purification function, resulting in variations in the air purification function.

The present invention has been made focusing on the above-mentioned problems,
The purpose is to make it easier to install and wire the smoke sensor, and to reduce variations in the operation of the air purifier by detecting smoke when the average indoor air exceeds a certain value. [Disclosure of the Invention] The present invention is a box body of an air purifier, in which a smoke sensor is integrally provided near the air inlet of the box body, and the air purifier unit is installed at a specific location in a room, By keeping the blower motor rotating at a low speed, a fan gently introduces indoor air into the main unit's box body, and when the smoke sensor detects smoke that exceeds a certain concentration of local dirt averaged value, the blower motor rotates at high speed. It is designed to be switched. Embodiments of the present invention will be explained below with reference to FIGS. 1 to 4. The air purifying device 1 includes a box body 4 having a gas inlet 2 and an outlet 3, and a smoke sensor 5 provided near the inlet 2 of the box. In the drawings of the embodiment, the smoke sensor 5 is provided on the wall inside the inlet 2, but the smoke sensor 5'' may be provided outside the inlet 2.The smoke sensor 5, 5° is connected to the air purifier 1
Since it is provided integrally with the smoke sensor 5, 5', installation and wiring of the smoke sensor 5, 5' are easy. A filter 6 is provided inside the box 4 to filter (adsorb) smoke, dust, odor particles, etc.
It is something to do. A fan 7 for inflowing and discharging gas, and a blower motor 8 for driving the fan 7 are provided within the same box body 4. The blow motor 8 rotates at high speed in response to an activation signal from the smoke sensor 5, but normally rotates at a low speed. This low-speed rotation allows the mixed and averaged air in the car equipped with the air purifier 1 to pass through the smoke sensor 5. FIG. 2 shows an example in which the air purifying device 1 is placed behind the rear seat of a passenger car 9. The air purifying device 1 operates in conjunction with the start of the car, as shown in the flowchart in Fig. 3 and the time chart showing changes in smoke concentration in Fig. 4(a) and control transition in Fig. 4(b). The blower motor 8 is activated, the fan 7 rotates at low speed, and the air inside the vehicle is gently sucked.

The air purifying device 1 may be started manually. Here, when the smoke sensor 5 detects smoke of a certain concentration or higher, the fanma switches to high-speed rotation, continues in this state for a certain period of time (for example, several tens of seconds) according to a timer, and then switches to medium-speed rotation, after which the smoke sensor 5 rotates at a high speed. When there is no output,
Switches to normal low speed rotation. According to the above method, even if the smoke concentration locally increases in a certain part of the car, the smoke sensor 5 detects the concentration by averaging the concentration in the car, so the operation, stopping, and operation of the air purifying device 1 are shortened. It is never repeated in time. Furthermore, the inconvenience that the air purifier 1 does not operate even though a certain area is full of smoke is also eliminated.

Incidentally, FIG. 5 shows an example of a circuit in which the present invention is implemented using a well-known circuit, and the detected output of the smoke sensor 5 is compared with a reference value corresponding to a constant concentration, and the detected concentration of the smoke sensor 5 is determined to be constant. a comparison means that generates an output if the concentration is higher than the concentration, a first timer means that starts operating at the rising edge of the output of the comparison means and generates an output for a certain period of time, and after the output of the first timer disappears. a retrigger-pull second timer means that generates an output until a certain period of time elapses after the output of the comparison means disappears, and a drive that rotates the fan motor 8 at a low speed if there is no output from the comparison means and the eleventh second timer means. Signal L0
, if there is an output from the first timer means, the fan motor 8
The control circuit comprises motor drive means for outputting a drive signal OLD for rotating the fan motor 8 at a high speed and a drive signal OLD for rotating the fan motor 8 at a medium speed if there is an output from the second timer means.

As described above, according to the present invention, a smoke sensor is provided integrally with the box body near the inlet of the box body with a built-in air purifying function,
A filter that filters out smoke, dust, odor particles, etc. is installed inside the box, as well as a fan that is rotated by a blower motor that responds to the smoke sensor output, making it extremely easy to install and remove the air purifier, as well as electrical wiring. In particular, it has become easier to retrofit as required, and there is no need to damage the appearance. Further, according to the embodiment of the present invention, the smoke sensor is provided integrally with the box body, and the fan is normally rotated at low speed, so that the average concentration of dirt in the air inside the car exceeds a certain value. When the smoke sensor is activated, the air purifier may not operate even though the air inside the room is contaminated, which is a disadvantage of conventional methods, and the smoke sensor operates more sensitively to dirt near the sensor. We were able to eliminate variations in detection sensitivity.
