[Background Art] We are currently in the age of information, and it has become important to effectively communicate information about various events and sales, for example.
Under these circumstances, solid-state display devices that can instantly convey information using kanji, hiragana, katakana, numbers, symbols, marks, animations, etc. using light-emitting diodes have come into the spotlight. Since such display devices are installed in various outdoor locations, there is a need for them to be reliably recognizable even from a distance. Fourth

As described above, when a solid-state display device is used as a guide in a housing exhibition hall, a parking lot, an event venue, etc., it is necessary to install it at a high place so that it can be reliably recognized from a distance. Additionally, most of the devices are used during the day in locations where sunlight directly hits the displayed information.

As mentioned above, in conventional solid-state display devices installed at high places, sunlight hits the display information elements directly, and reflections from the surface weaken the brightness from inside, making it difficult to identify blinking. However, there was a problem with small elements making it difficult to read information when viewed from a distance. For this reason, measures such as increasing the brightness of the light emitting diode and increasing the number of elements per unit were taken, but the elements themselves deteriorated over time.
It was difficult to maintain brightness for a long period of time due to the adhesion of dust, dust, etc. In addition, when the elements are arranged densely, the conductors wired to the display board become densely crowded, and the light from each element is scattered in all four and eight directions, so the brightness is not equal to the sum of the number of elements. It was efficient.

The present invention eliminates the above-mentioned problems, and allows the display elements of a display device to be reliably and easily identified even from a distance without being affected by the surrounding environment, weather, etc.
An object of the present invention is to provide a display device that allows displayed information to be recognized clearly and quickly.

In the display device of the present invention, since the outer periphery of the display lamp is surrounded by a cylindrical bracket, sunlight does not directly hit the display lamp, and sunlight can be used to determine whether the display lamp is on or off. This is not impossible, and since it is composed of multiple display elements, the size of the display lamp that is the display unit (dot) can be freely selected, making it easier to recognize the displayed information from a distance. . Moreover, since it has a base that screws into the socket, it is not only easy to replace when it deteriorates, but also
It can also be replaced with miniature light bulbs and other lamps, reducing maintenance.

The display device on which the lamp 1 is mounted is the same as the conventional device consisting of the display plate 9, support column 15, and metal case 14 shown in FIG. 4, but the lamp 1 is used instead of the light emitting diode 16 as the light emitting body. do. Therefore, as shown in FIG. 1, conductors 13 are embedded inside the display panel 9, and socket portions 10 electrically connected to the conductors 13 are provided at regular intervals in the vertical and horizontal directions. The display lamps 1 are screwed into the socket portions 10, respectively. Here, the lamp 1 consists of a screw-shaped cap 11, an outer frame 2 opening from the cap in a conical shape, and a lens portion 7 covering the opening in a bowl-shape. Further, on the inner circumferential portion of the outer frame 2, a substrate support portion 3 for supporting the substrate 4 having a plurality of light emitting bodies 6 mounted thereon with screws 5 is formed so as to extend toward openings at a plurality of locations in the circumferential direction. A plurality of light emitting bodies 6 such as LEDs or miniature light bulbs are mounted on the substrate 4, and these light emitting bodies 6
are electrically connected collectively (by series or parallel connection) from the cap 11 to the flexible coil 12 on the substrate 4. Further, although not shown, a rectifying element may be inserted and connected to the connecting portion of the flexible coil 12 so that commercial AC power can be supplied to the conductor 13. Furthermore, the screw-shaped base 11 may be made to have the same size and shape as a commonly used incandescent light bulb, so that the lamp 1 according to the present invention can be used in place of a conventional lamp. The lens 7 is formed of a bowl-shaped colored member, and is detachably fitted and fixed to the open end of the outer frame 2. In addition, the inner circumferential surface of the lens 7 is provided with a step 17 in the circumferential direction as shown in FIG. I have it. The outer periphery of the lens portion of the lamp 1 is covered with a cylindrical bracket 8, and the end thereof is covered with an outer frame 2 or a lens 7.
It is removably fitted and fixed to the The bracket 8 is made dark black to absorb sunlight, and the inner circumferential surface is exposed to absorb sunlight and reflect the light from the light emitter 6 forward. The surface becomes a light-reflecting surface; for example, it can be treated with a paint that absorbs/reflects light, a surface treatment that absorbs/reflects light, or a material that absorbs/reflects light. It is good to apply. Furthermore, it goes without saying that the bracket 8 is not completely cylindrical as shown in the figure, but may be cylindrical with a partially cut-off portion at the bottom. As described above, the present invention is not limited to the above embodiments, and various modifications are possible, and such modifications are not excluded.

As is clear from the above explanation, according to the present invention, even in outdoor locations where sunlight directly hits the display lamp, horizontal sunlight is completely blocked because the outer periphery of the lens is covered by the bracket 8. Moreover, since the outer peripheral surface of the bracket 8 is made to be a light absorbing surface, such as a dark black color, it is absorbed. On the other hand, since the inner circumferential surface of the bracket 8 is formed to be a reflective surface, there is no mutual influence of light, and even if there are objects of similar color to the display nearby, Sufficient brightness can be ensured without any measures to increase the brightness, and a distant display device can be sufficiently recognized. In addition, since the inner surface of the bracket is formed as a reflective surface, the number of light emitting diodes required can be reduced compared to the conventional method of installing individual light emitting diodes to obtain the same brightness as a display, and wiring is also simpler. can be converted into Furthermore, the bracket prevents dust and dirt from entering from the outside,
It also has the effect of preventing stains due to adhesion.
Furthermore, even if the light emitters constituting the indicator lamp reach the end of their lifespan, they do not look unsightly and can be replaced very easily, and the amount of light can be easily adjusted by changing the number of light emitters.
