Abstract

PURPOSE:To shorten a drying time by a method wherein a package tank is freezed in a drying circulation circuit, a fiber package with a low rate of moisture is filled in the tank during a drying operation so as to pass hot air, and a tank pressure is released after increasing a rate of moisture of the fiber package and the fiber package is transported out. CONSTITUTION:During an initial dehydration stage, changing-over valves 9 and 10 are closed, air sent into a drying tank 1 and a flowed out of a cooling device 5 is further sent to a condensing separator 8, where moisture in the air is separated. Upon completion of an initial dehydration stage, the changing-over valves 9 and 10 are opened, a changing-over valve 11 is closed, and a flow of air is sent to a package tank 12, resulting in that a dried fiber package in the tank 12 may absorb moisture in the air stream within a short period of time. In this case, the cooling device 5 is not operated. When a fiber package 14 reaches a limited moisture absorbing rate, the changing-over valve 11 is opened, the changing-over valves 9 and 10 are closed and a drying processing is continued. Inner pressure of the tank 12 is released to the surrounding atmosphere, an opening or closing lid 13 is opened and then the fiber package 14 which has absorbed moisture is replaced with dry fiber package. With such an arrangement, steam and cooling water are reduced in their consumption and then a productivity can be improved.

Conventionally, in this type of dryer, the moisture contained in the circulating heated air to raise the temperature of the fiber itself and evaporate the moisture contained in the fiber is converted into condensate in a cooler, and then condensed in a condensate separator. After the liquid was discharged, the circulating air was heated again using the heater.

In view of the above, the present invention provides a first aspect of the present invention, in which blower→heater→
Compressed air is added to the circulation circuit of drying tank → cooler → condensate separator → blower, and the fiber package is dried by hot air circulating under pressure.
A package tank in which the fiber package can be attached and detached is connected to the circulation circuit, and during the drying process, a fiber package with a low moisture content is loaded into the package tank and the hot air is passed through it to increase the moisture content of the fiber package. , and then releasing the pressure in the package tank without reducing the pressure in the circulation circuit, and then transporting the fiber package,
In the second invention, compressed air is added to the circulation circuit of blower → heater → drying tank → cooler → condensate separator → blower, so that the fiber package is dried by hot air circulating under pressure. The fiber puff cage is characterized in that at least one package tank into which a fiber package can be attached and detached is inserted downstream of the drying tank in the circulation circuit, and the condensate separator is inserted in a roundabout manner via a switching valve. It is a drying device.

By creating a heated air circulation path through the package tank, the moisture content of the air leaving the drying tank is reduced to about 5% by the fiber package (14) in the package tank (12) with a low moisture content.
When the temperature is below 0°C, the condensate is absorbed into the fiber package without using a cooler, allowing efficient condensate separation.

Since the moisture absorption effect of this fiber package differs depending on the material of the fiber puff cage 14, the fiber packages 3 and 14 are usually
are preferably made of the same material. When the limit water absorption rate of the fiber package 14 is reached, the switching valve 11 is opened, and the switching valve 9.
Close the IO and switch the air flow to continue the drying process.

In this state, the internal pressure of the package tank 12 is released to the atmosphere by a pressure release device (not shown), and the opening/closing lid 13 is opened.
The fiber package 14 that has absorbed moisture is taken out from the package tank 12 along with the carrier 15, and the fiber package 14 is replaced with a dry fiber package 14 before the dyeing process, and loaded into the package tank 12. After making the pressure the same as that of the switching valve 9.10.1
By the function of 1, the water absorption effect in the circulating air can be performed again.
