Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent positional deviation and rising of an insert sheet, by a method wherein a surplus part is provided on the insert sheet and after performance of molding by fixing the surplus part on a parting part of a molding tool, and the surplus part is cut off and removed. CONSTITUTION:A wire net 11 is blank-processed a size larger than a product form so that a surplus part 14 is left behind extending over almost the whole circumference of a wire net stretching part of a filter. A space 4 holding the surplus part 14 of the wire net 11 is provided in succession to a cavity 2 and a plurality of needlelike projections 5 for fixing the surplus part 14 and recessed parts corresponding to the projections 5 are provided extending over the whole circumference of the cavity 2. The wire net 11 is stretched strongly in a facial direction under a mold broken state and the surplus part 14 is fixed by inserting respectively into a plurality of the projections 5. Then a mold is clamped, molding is performed by filling a molding material into the cavity 2, the mold is broken, mold release is performed and the surplus part 14 is cut off at a C-C line for removal.

During the above manufacturing process, the wire mesh (11) is punched from a roll-shaped (hoop-shaped) original fabric, and even after being punched into the product shape, it still has a tendency to curl up into a roll shape. Therefore, if the wire mesh (II) with this habit is placed in the cavity, problems such as misalignment and lifting may occur, and the wire mesh (II)
There is a problem in that it is not possible to flatten the I) in a predetermined position.

In view of the above points, it is an object of the present invention to solve the problems seen in the above-mentioned conventional techniques. In insert molding in which a cavity is filled with a molding material and the molded part made of the material is integrated with the insert sheet after waiting for the molding material to harden, a surplus portion is provided in the insert sheet,
The method is characterized in that the surplus portion is fixed to a parting portion of the mold and molded, and after molding, the surplus portion is cut and removed.
