施例の線引き炉で製造された光フアイバのγ線照
射特性を従来例と比して示した図、第４図は一実
施例の線引き炉で製造された光フアイバの耐水素
特性を従来例と比して示した図である。 図中、１……光フアイバ母材、２……線引き炉
本体、２ａ……母材側空間、２ｂ……発熱体側空
間、４……カーボン発熱体、５……ジルコニアマ
ツフル、６……第１のノズル、７……第２のノズ
ル、８……光フアイバである。

Claims (1)
- 光フアイバ母材を加熱する発熱体にカーボン抵
抗体を用いた光フアイバ線引き炉において、上記
発熱体と光フアイバ母材との間にジルコニアマツ
フルを設けて発熱体側空間と光フアイバ母材側空
間とに区画し、発熱体側空間に不活性ガスを導入
する第１のノズルを、母材側空間に酸素を含む雰
囲気ガスを導入する第２のノズルを設けたことを
特徴とする光フアイバ線引き炉。
