送し、この返送された電波を質問装置で復調して
変調信号を検出することにより上記応答装置を識
別する識別装置において、 質問装置側に備えられ、複数種類の周波数の内
から切り換え装置によつて選択された一つの周波
数の信号を出力する周波数信号出力回路、 この周波数信号出力回路の出力周波数の位相と
上記応答装置からの電波を復調して得た信号の位
相とを比較し、位相差によつて定められる電圧を
出力する位相比較器、 この位相比較器の出力電
圧を平滑した誤差信号により上記周波数信号出力
回路内の発振器の発振周波数をフイードバツク制
御する手段、 上記位相比較器に入力する周波数信号出力回路
の出力周波数が、上記応答装置からの電波を復調
して得た信号周波数にロツクされたことを検出す
るロツク検出器、 を備え、上記応答機側が応答機の属する群によ
りそれぞれ異なる変調周波数を有する場合、上記
切り換え装置による切り換えに対応して所定の群
に属する応答装置を識別するようにしたことを特
徴とする識別装置。 (2) 請求項第1項記載の識別装置において、上
記周波数信号出力回路は、 電圧制御水晶発振器と、 この電圧制御水晶発振器の出力周波数を基準周
波数として合成した周波数を出力して上記位相比
較器に入力する周波数シンセサイザと、 上記電圧制御水晶発振器の発振周波数を上記位
相比較器の出力によりフイードバツク制御する手
段とを備え、 上記切り換え装置は、 クロツクパルスを発生するクロツク発生器と、 このクロツクパルスを計数するカウンタと、 このカウンタの計数値をデコードするデコーダ
と、 このデコーダの出力により上記周波数シンセサ
イザの出力周波数を切り換える手段と、 上記ロツク検出器の出力時点における上記カウ
ンタの計数値をラツチするラツチと、 このラツチの内容を表示する手段とを備え、 上記周波数信号出力回路の出力周波数の自動切
