Abstract

PURPOSE:To attain communication at any time as required by applying changeover control to a line toward the data transmission or the talking side based cn the presence of a specific frequency signal mixed in a data. CONSTITUTION:When a talking switch 12 is depressed to ON while switches 8a, 8b of a changeover circuit 8 are thrown to the position of a data transmission circuit 3 and data transmission is implemented, if a specific frequency signal S1 is not lost within a prescribed time, a speech display lamp 14 is inactive, a line 11 is thrown to the position of the data transmission circuit 3 and the operation restores to the ST 2. If the specific frequency signal S1 is lost within a prescribed time, it is discriminated to be production of a speech request, a terminal equipment 2 outputting the specific frequency signal S1 and the line 11 are connected, the switches 8a, 8b of the changeover circuit 8 are thrown to the position of a speech circuit 7 to make communication.

By the way, when transmitting data or making a meeting call between the distribution device 23 and each terminal device 24, the distribution device 23 switches the line 25 to perform the communication. To explain further, normally, the distribution device 23 and each terminal device 24
The line 25 is switched to the signal line side so that data can be transmitted in both directions.
When a call request signal is sent from the distribution device 23 or the terminal device 24 to the other party's device, the other party's device receives this call request signal, lights up a call lamp, and prompts the operator to switch the line 25 to the call line side. Put up signs to encourage people to do so. Then, the operator manually operates the switch according to this display to switch the line 25 to the call line that allows meeting calls and makes the call, and after the call ends, both parties switch the line 25 back to the signal line that allows data transmission. I was switching to the side.

[Problem to be Solved by the Invention] However, in the above-mentioned conventional system, when making a call between devices, the operator manually operated a switch according to the display to switch the line 25 to the call line. Failures often occur in which the line 25 is forgotten to be switched after the end of a call, resulting in an interruption without proceeding to data transmission, and subsequent data is interrupted, making accurate data transmission impossible.

By the way, in order to solve the above-mentioned problem, a method has been proposed for low-speed data transmission in which the band of the communication line is divided and a band for pig transmission and a call band are exclusively allocated so that data transmission and phone calls can be carried out simultaneously. Since high-speed data transmission requires a wide band for data transmission and a communication band to be allocated, data transmission and communication cannot be performed simultaneously within the limited band.

The mixing circuit 5 mixes the transmission data D1 from the data transmission circuit 3 and the specific frequency signal S1 from the specific frequency signal generator 4, and outputs the mixture to the terminal device 2 side via the switching circuit 8 and the line 11. As a result, when data is transmitted, not only the transmission data D1 but also the specific frequency signal S1 is necessarily mixed with this data D1 and transmitted over the line 11.

The control circuit 10 includes a call switch 12 and a call termination switch 1.
3, the switches 8a and 8b of the switching circuit 8 are switched, the call indicator lamp 14 is turned on, and the discharge buzzer 15 is turned on based on the presence or absence of the specific frequency signal S1 from the specific frequency signal detection circuit 9 for a predetermined time or more. It is equipped with a discrimination circuit 10a that controls the ringing. To explain further, when the call switch 12 is pressed, a switching signal S4 is output to the switching circuit 8 so that each switch 8a, 8b of the switching circuit 8 is switched to the call circuit 7 side. Further, if the specific frequency signal 81 from the specific frequency signal detection circuit 9 is supplied for a predetermined time or longer, it is determined that data transmission is being performed, and the switching signal S5 indicates the current line connection state, that is, the pig transmission circuit 3. If the specific frequency signal SL is not supplied for a predetermined period of time or more, it is determined that there is a call request from the terminal device 2 side, and the call display lamp 14 blinks, The discharge buzzer 15 is sounded and a switching signal S4 is outputted to switch the switching circuit 8 to the communication circuit 7 side. Furthermore, when a line connection is made to any terminal device 2 and a call is being made, when the call ends and the end call switch 13 is pressed, each switch 8a, 8b of the switching circuit 8 is turned off. A switching signal S5 is output to the switching circuit 8 so as to switch to the data transmission circuit 3 side. The control circuit 10 also includes a timer circuit lOb activated by a specific frequency signal S1 from the specific frequency signal detection circuit 9. If the specific frequency signal S1 is not supplied from the specific frequency signal detection circuit 9 after a predetermined period of time has elapsed after activation, the timer circuit 10b determines that there is a call request from the terminal device 2 and turns on the call indicator lamp 14. At the same time, the discharge buzzer 15
sounds and switches the switching circuit 8 to the communication circuit 7 side. Further, if the specific frequency signal S1 is not interrupted even after a predetermined period of time has elapsed, it is determined that the other party's terminal device 2 is absent and there is no call request, and the switching circuit 8 is maintained on the data transmission circuit 3 side.

Therefore, in the embodiment described above, switching between the data transmission circuit 3 and the communication circuit 7 between the lines 11 is performed based on the presence or absence of the specific frequency signal S1 output from each device 1.2 together with the data Di and D2 for a predetermined period of time or longer. A call can be made between the distribution device 1 and the terminal device 2 under control, and when the call ends, the line 11 is closed by operating the end switch 13 in at least one of the devices 1 and 2 with which the call is being made. Since it automatically returns to the data transmission circuit 3 side, it is possible to switch between data transmission and telephone calls without interrupting data transmission due to forgetting to operate a switch as in the conventional case.

In the example, a telephone line and a data transmission line are distinguished by detecting 3300 Hz for a predetermined period of time or more, but the frequency is not limited to this, and the frequency of occurrence of transmission on a telephone line is determined. It is sufficient to select fewer signals.

In other words, the scope of application of the above-mentioned telephone communication system is that data is normally transmitted through a single line, and as long as it is possible to make a telephone call through the same line as necessary, it can be applied to any device other than the above-mentioned embodiments, such as a ship. It can also be applied to incoming lines. In this case, there are two possible methods: one is to perform data transmission or call switching while the line is connected, and the other is to specify the other party and perform data transmission or call.

[Effects of the Invention 1 As explained above, the meeting telephone device according to the present invention has the following advantages:
Since the line is switched to either the data transmission side or the calling side based on the presence or absence of a specific frequency signal mixed with data, you can make a call at any time as needed, and you can also use the Interruption of data transmission can be prevented.
