A single master device and multiple slave devices each having a connector for data input and a connector for data output are connected in a cascading manner by cables, and the number of slave devices is variable. In information processing equipment where it is necessary to terminate the bus on the last connected device, an analog switch is implemented between the data line and the terminating resistor on each slave device. By adding one signal line to the bus to control this analog switch, and dropping that signal line to GND on the input side and pulling it up on the output side, it will automatically connect to the last connection. An information processing device characterized in that only a terminal resistor of a slave device becomes active.
