順に配列された内燃機関の吸気又は排気のダクト
と、ダクトを外側から取り巻いて接合されかつ貫
通孔又は拡張窓を通してダクト内部に連通する箱
状の共鳴部と、ダクトの外面に摺接して長手方向
に移動しかつ拡張窓よりも小さい内径を有して板
厚方向に貫通する首管を備えた可動開閉プレート
と、作動信号が送られて可動開閉プレートを摺動
させる駆動部と、を含み、 可動開閉プレートの摺動によつて、貫通孔が閉
じられて首管が拡張窓に重なつたときに首管を通
してダクと共鳴部とが連通し、貫通孔及び拡張窓
の一方が閉塞されかつ他方が開放されてダクトと
共鳴部とが連通しているときは、首管が閉塞され
