得ているものである。その場合、消音器の内部構
成の他に、排気導入管・排気尾管、消音器相互の
結合管の各管長、その比、従つて全排気系におけ
る消音器の取付位置等が大きな役割をしている
(特公昭59−14603号・実開昭55−163422号公報参
照)。

体の仕切板または端板に固定し、他方の管を消音
器体の外部に延長させて可動にして延長端部を閉
塞し、その可動管を出入させて二重管の合計管長
を変えると共に併せて区分消音室の配置間隔を実
質的に変え得るように構成したことを特徴とする
内燃機関の消音器である。

排気の流量また温度をセンサで検知し、そのセン
サ信号に応動する電気機械的手段で上記の自動調
整を行わせることもできる。

に変え得るように構成したことを特徴とする内燃
機関の消音器。 2 可動管の出入操作を手動で行うようにした特

じて自動的に行うように連動させた特許請求の範
