One side of the washing tub 2 has a bulging wall 23 that bulges inward.
A discharge waterway 24 communicating with the blade chamber 7 is formed between the bulging wall 23 and the tank wall. This discharge waterway 24 discharges water drawn up by the pumping action of the back blade 10 into the tank from above the tank, complicating the water flow, and removing lint etc. by the lint filter 25. belongs to. Therefore, the inlet 26 of the discharge waterway 24 is opened in the peripheral side wall of the blade chamber 7. In the case of the lower tank 3, tapered molds are disposed between the bulging wall 23 and the tank wall from both the upper and lower sides to form the lower half of the discharge waterway 24 divided into upper and lower parts. As shown in the figure, the center of this lower half is offset in the horizontal direction. The inlet 26 is formed at the same time as this molding, and the die hole 27 is closed by a closing cover 28.

As shown in FIG. 3, this cover 28 is a box with an open top and one side, and a tongue piece 29 on one side.
A pair of rectifying pieces 30 are formed so as to extend integrally from both ends of this one side portion to narrow the one side opening and to extend the narrowed state. That is, the dimension between the rectifier pieces 30 and 30 with respect to the width W 1 of the one side opening
W 2 is small, and this relationship is maintained for a predetermined distance toward the inside of the cover 28. Thus,
The tongue piece 29 of the cover 28 is inserted into the wing chamber 7 through the inlet 26.
The opening on one side is substantially aligned with the inlet 26, and the downward protrusions 31, 31 of the tongue piece 29 are inserted into the locking hole in the lower part so that the tongue piece 29 is fitted into the lower part of the wing chamber 7. 32, 32, and the other side wall of the cover 28 is fitted into the inner surface of the side wall of the discharge channel 24 near the punching hole 27. Then, a stopper 33 protruding from the outside of the cover 28 is brought into contact with or pressed against the edge of the punching hole 27 from below, and a claw 34 similarly formed on the outer surface of the other side is inserted into the engagement hole 35 of the tank wall. It engages while sliding on the slope of the tank wall. At this time, the elastic forces of the resins of the cover 28, the claws 34, and the tank wall are made to interact with each other.

Butts against the lower end 37 of the bulging wall 23,
Here, too, a substantially zero interval H 2 is provided between the two to increase the bonding force between the upper and lower tanks 3 and 4. Also,
This lower end 37 is somewhat thicker, and in addition to the portion where it butts against the upper end 36, there is a portion that remains protruding into the tank by a dimension D2 . The end of the channel is bent inwardly by a horizontal mold to form an outlet 38. Note that the dimensions D 1 and D 2 have a relationship of D 1 ≧D 2 .

In addition, if the balancer 41 is lowered, the height of the washing tub 2 can be suppressed and miniaturization becomes possible, but for this purpose, the engagement hole 46 can be formed from the bottom surface of the lower groove body 42. . At this time, only the upper part of the engagement hole 46 of the lower groove body 42 is raised, and
An engagement margin 54 is formed here. This is shown in FIGS. 6 and 7.

The lower end 17 of the upper tank 4, the lower end 20 of the guide rib 18, and the peripheral stepped portion 16 of the lower tank 3 have flat end surfaces (step surfaces) and are parallel to each other in the horizontal direction. Since these vessels are divided into two halves, the vertical dimension of each part is approximately half that of the mold part surface, but this part surface is the butt surface of the molds and has high dimensional accuracy. This is something that can be managed. Therefore, the dimensional relationship between the distance H 2 and the distance H 1 is also very accurate. Therefore, the lower tank 3 is fixed using its ribs 21, a rotating jig is fixed on the upper surface of the balancer 41 of the upper tank 4, and the distance H 1 is visually checked or the guide rib 18 and the circumferential step 16 are fixed with a tool.
The rotary welding work is carried out while measuring the interval Z. Then, while the joint rib 15 and the groove 19 are entirely welded together, by making the interval H 1 zero or approximately zero, the interval H 2 can also be made zero or approximately zero.

FIG. 8 shows the arrangement of the respective molds 55 to 59 during molding of the upper tank 4. Reference numeral 59 indicates the core. Here, the vertical dimensions of the molds 55 to 59 that form the discharge waterway 24, which has a total length of over 300 mm, are each reduced to about 150 mm, and the wall thickness of the tank walls, etc. can be reduced to about 5 mm. Further, there is no need to make the strength of the core 59 for forming the water channel particularly high. This results in lower mold costs and shorter molding cycles.

To explain the operation during washing, the laundry moving around on the rotating water flow is prevented from rising along the side wall by the dimensions D 1 and D 2 , and is then turned upside down. Therefore, the entire laundry hits the rotary blades 8 evenly, and is washed evenly and at a high cleaning rate. The water forced from the blade chamber 7 to the discharge channel 24 via the inlet 26 returns diagonally downward into the tank from the outlet 38 through the lint filter 25, contributing to the complication of the water flow. Further, the lint filter 25 captures thread waste and the like. Since the interval H 2 is set to zero or approximately zero, there is no or almost no leakage of water from the water channel 24 into and out of the tank.

When removing the captured lint, etc., the net 49 may be returned as is, but the entire lint filter 25 can also be removed. At this time, insert your finger through the guide surface 53 and pinch the finger hook 52 and the frame 48 to remove the claw 51 from the engagement hole 46, and then

7, 47, and push down as it is to guide the claw 51 into the engagement hole 46 while sliding it on the guide surface 53. The lint filter 25 installed in this manner is hidden inside the balancer 41 and does not interfere with the loading and unloading of laundry. Further, the finger hook portion 52 can be visually seen from the guide surface 53 during installation.

During spin-drying, the washing tub 2 rotates in one direction at high speed, but at this time it may vibrate in the lateral direction due to an unbalanced load or the like. However, since the washing tub 2 has a bulging shape, it does not require a large distance from the outer tub 1 to allow vibration. When the washing tub 2 actually vibrates, the upper and lower parts of the washing tub 2 collide almost simultaneously. Conventionally, the upper part of the tub collided, so this was reinforced with ribs, etc., but in this example, the lower groove body 42 is integrally formed with the upper tub 4. Therefore, this type of reinforcing rib was omitted to increase the internal volume of the tank.
