Claims (1)
転するカムシヤフトに固定されたカムと、このカ
ムに対向して設けられ、このカムの動きを受ける
部材に間隔を開けて形成した1対の支持壁部と、
両端の未焼き入れ部分を上記1対の支持壁部に形
成した通孔の内径面に向けてかしめる事により、
この1対の支持壁部の間に掛け渡す状態で固定さ
れた鋼製の軸と、この軸の周囲に回転自在に支承
されたセラミツク製のローラとから成るエンジン
の動弁機構用カムフオロア装置であつて、上記ロ
ーラの内径面を表面粗さが0.2μmRa以下の
平滑面とし、上記軸の外径面で上記ローラの内径
面と対向する部分を焼き入れ硬化すると共に、少
なくともこの部分にバレル加工により、表面粗さ
が0.08μmRa〜0.3μmRaの微細な凹
凸を形成する事で、上記軸の外径面とローラの内
径面との間の保油性能を向上させたエンジンの動
弁機構用カムフオロア装置。 (2) ローラの内径面を表面粗さが0.2μmR
a以下の平滑面とする代りに、この内径面に表面
粗さが0.05〜0.8μmRaの微細な凹凸を
形成し、軸の外径面で上記ローラの内径面と対向
する部分に、表面粗さが0.08μmRa〜0.
