Abstract

PURPOSE:To improve vibration resistance and to largely reduce the manufacturing cost by removing the insulating coating of a predetermined winding of an air core coil at the side of a circuit board except a mounting part, forming electrode lands on the surface of the board at a positions corresponding to the remove parts, and soldering the removed parts to the lands. CONSTITUTION:In an air core coil 1, a coil lead is space-wound along a circular line, mounting parts 2a formed by removing the insulating coating are formed at both ends, and removed parts 2b are formed by removing the coating of the windings at the side of a circuit board except the parts 2a. For example, before the lead is wound, the coating of the lead may be previously removed at a predetermined interval by a removing member such as a cutter, etc. Then, the coil 1 is so placed on the surface of the board 3 that the parts 2a and the parts 2b respectively correspond to a wiring pattern 4a and electrode lands 4b. Further, the parts 2a and the pattern 4a, the parts 2b and the lands 4b are soldered by reflowing, etc.

(Problem to be Solved by the Invention) In this way, the resin 15 connects the air-core coil 11 to the wiring board 1.
The reason why it is fixed at 3 is to improve the so-called vibration resistance by suppressing the vibration of the coil. However, the above-described conventional method requires steps such as resin application and resin curing, which has the disadvantage of increasing the number of manufacturing steps. Furthermore, there is an inconvenience that the resin 15 greatly increases manufacturing costs.

(Means for Solving the Problems) In order to achieve the above object, the air-core coil mounting method of the present invention includes a method in which a mounting portion formed by peeling off the insulation coating at both ends of the winding is soldered to a wiring pattern. In this method, the insulation coating on the wiring board surface side of a predetermined winding of the air-core coil, excluding the mounting part, is peeled off and removed, an electrode land is formed on the wiring board surface at a position corresponding to the peeled off part, and the insulation coating is peeled off. A feature is that the removed portion is soldered to the 1lt pole land.

(Function) As described above, since the predetermined windings of the air-core coil excluding the mounting portion are soldered and fixed to the electrode lands of the wiring board, vibration resistance is improved. Further, since there is no need to provide resin as in the conventional case, extra steps such as resin application and resin curing can be omitted, and manufacturing costs can be significantly reduced.

First, an air-core coil 1 as shown in FIG. 1 is prepared. This air-core coil 1 has a coil conductor wound in a space-like manner along a circular line, and has attachment parts 2a formed by peeling off the insulation coating at both ends thereof, and further has attachment parts 2a formed by peeling and removing the insulation coating. A peel-off portion 2b is formed by peeling off the insulation coating on the wiring board surface side of each winding except for the attachment portion 2a. In this figure, (a) is a front view, and (a) is a front view.
B) is a right side view, and (C) is a bottom view. In order to form the attachment part 2a and the peel-off part 2b, for example, the insulation coating of the coil conductor can be peeled off at predetermined intervals using a peel-off member such as a cutter before winding the coil conductor. Bye. Further, when the insulating coating is heat-fusible, the insulating coating can be peeled off and removed by winding the coil conductor and then melting the insulating coating with a heating member. Further, a wiring board 3 as shown in FIG. 2 is also prepared. This figure is a plan view of the main parts of the wiring board 3, in which a wiring pattern 4a and an electrode land 4b are provided at positions corresponding to the attaching part 2a and the peeling-off part 2b of the air-core coil 1, respectively.

In this embodiment, the air-core coil 1 has a circular shape because it is wound along a circular line, but it may have another shape. In addition, the peeling removal portion 2b is removed from the air-core coil 1.
It is not necessary to form it on all the windings except the attachment part 2at', and the peeling removal part 2b does not need to be a space winding.
