される排ガスを浄化する触媒本体と、該触媒本体
の外周に設けられた遠赤外線ヒータと、上記触媒
本体の外周面近傍に設けられ該触媒本体の温度を
検出する温度検知器と、該温度検知器から導出さ
れる温度信号を受けて上記触媒本体の温度が所定
温度以下のとき上記遠赤外線ヒータに電力を供給
する制御回路とを有することを特徴とする排ガス
