Abstract

PURPOSE: To obtain a sterile non-pyrogenic soln. by supplying distilled water under a first pressure into the first compartment of a dialyzer partitioned with a dialysis membrane and a soln. under a second pressure lower than the first pressure into a second compartment. CONSTITUTION: City water is put into a distillator 10 and is made to the distilled water. The distilled water is put into the compartment 12 of the dialyzer 14 partitioned to the compartments 12 and 16 by the solute dialysis membrane 18. On the other hand, the salt soln. to be introduced into the compartment 16 includes the salts to be taken into the distilled water led out of the compartment 12. The hydrostatic pressure in the inlet of the compartment 12 is made higher by 75 mmHg than the hydrostatic pressure in the inlet of the compartment 16 and even if a pressure drop arises on both sides along the dialysis membrane 18, the pressure of the compartment 12 is made higher than the pressure of the compartment 16 side over the entire range of the region of the dialysis membrane 18. The desired solute may thus be effectively taken into the distilled water through the dialysis membrane.

(Summary of the Invention) As a means for obtaining a sterile, non-pyrogenic solution as described above, the inventor of the present invention has developed a system in which the pressure on the distilled water side of the dialysis membrane is maintained higher than the pressure on the solute solution side. We believe that it is effective to introduce the desired solute into distilled water through a dialysis membrane! Two.
