Abstract

PURPOSE:To enable each station control unit to promptly cope with a diagram, when it is changed, by inputting information of arrival and departure of a train to a central unit from the station control unit through a transmission circuit here grasping an on-line existing state of the train from the diagram information and sending this on-line existing state to the station control unit. CONSTITUTION:In case of arrival/departure of a train in a station 1 controlled by a system, information of arrival/departure of the train is transmitted to a central unit 7 from a control unit 2 of the station 1, and the central unit 7, of the day diagram information provided and of the diagram how many minutes + or - from the present time, searches for the diagram of the train of the received arrival/departure information. While the central unit 7 converts the researched diagram information into a specific format, transmits the arrival/ departure information to all the station control units 1 in the system through a transmission circuit 8 and registers the information in the on-line existing state of all the station control units 1. In each station control unit 2, when the timing of a passenger guide is judged, of all the line on-line existing states provided in the own station, the corresponding train is referred, and being based on the diagram information of that train, a passenger guide is performed.

In Fig. 3, 2 is a station control device that is installed at each station 1 and provides passenger guidance services for that station, and 3 is a storage unit that has the day's timetable information that is available at each station. The station control device 2 provides passenger guidance services. 4
is a train. 5 is the station control range of each station, and data such as track circuits within this range are input to each station. The input data differs due to differences in the track circuits within the control range of each station, and this data determines the timing of announcements for passenger guidance services and the output timing of destination indicators, etc., for each station.

The approaching broadcast timing is transmitted from the track circuit in the station control range 5 of station B to the station control device 2, so that the station control device 2 retrieves the train 4's timetable from the day's timetable information storage unit it has internally. It detects information and broadcasts approaching trains at stations based on the timetable information. In this way, in the conventional distributed passenger guidance system, passenger guidance is provided independently at each station, and information at other stations is not monitored.

(Problem to be Solved by the Invention) As in the past, if each station control device 1 is provided with the day's timetable information and each station is made to provide passenger guidance independently, Since it is impossible to determine which timetable was used for passenger guidance, if there are discrepancies in passenger guidance at each station, or if there are changes to the timetable, etc., the same-day timetable information held at each station will be updated. Changes must be reflected in the information, but the method used to do this is to manually correct the day's schedule information for all stations. However, in a passenger information system where changes are often canceled, it takes time to do so and there is a possibility that errors may occur. it was high.

As mentioned above, each station has the status of all trains on the system (the location of the train and the timetable information of that train are set), and the information is set there. To provide passenger guidance services using train information.

By the above-mentioned means, each station control device 2 determines the timing of passenger guidance, searches for the corresponding train from among the track status of all the lines that have a breakdown, and provides passenger guidance based on the timetable information of that train.

Also, when a train departs/arrives at another station, the train status at that station is updated to show that it has departed/arrived from the station, allowing other stations to know the same status. For this purpose, departure/arrival information determined in detail is transmitted to the central unit via a transmission line. By updating the track location status held at other stations based on the departure/arrival information transmitted from the central device, it is possible to grasp the same track location status at all stations.

For example, if train 4 arrives at station B as shown in Figure 1,
When the information that the train has arrived at the station control device 2 of B station is inputted in the track circuit information, etc., as shown in the flowchart shown in Fig. 2, as a process, it is determined from the track status known at B station that A station and Search for the first train (the train that will arrive at B station this time) among the trains running between B stations, and then search for that train as A.
Move the train from between the station and B station to the B station platform (update the train status).

Furthermore, by transmitting information that a train has arrived at station B from station B to other stations through the transmission line, the other stations receive this information and update their track status. By performing this operation inside each station control device 2, it is possible to grasp the same line status in all stations.

As mentioned above, by keeping track of the same track status at all stations, the problem of the content of passenger information services for trains differing from station to station has been solved. Although it is rarely necessary to manage the trains, passenger guidance services are possible by managing only the trains that are on the line within the system.

In addition, in the past, when a timetable change or addition was made, the schedule information for the day was managed at each station, so it was necessary to reflect the details of the change or addition to all the timetable information for the day. If the same-day schedule information is managed only within the central device 7 as in the above embodiment, it becomes possible to respond by simply reflecting the contents of schedule changes and additions in the same-day schedule information within the central device 7.

In other words, each station control device does not need to be aware of any changes or additions to the timetable, so it is only necessary to create one normal process as a program for the station control device.

The present invention solves the system problem in which the content of passenger information services for trains at each station differs because each station control device always knows the same status of all lines. When changes or additions are made, it can be handled simply by modifying the day's schedule information in the central device, and each station control device no longer needs to be aware of changes or additions to the schedule, reducing the number of programs in each station control device. I can do it.
